Recruitment Looking for Editors/Proofreaders for several Chinese BL Projects

Hi, i'm interested in being an editor. I'm still in school so i can commit roughly 5-7hrs a week? I am a native english speaker but i haven't had any experience. I don't have discord and don't mind the project either.

Both are 2-3 chapter releases a week~

 

Native English speaker here with a degree in English literature. I can commit 1-2 hours per weekday, and 2-3 hours per weekend day, but no more than 4 days per week. I'd like to try my hand at editing BL novels; it'd certainly be a welcome respite from grading pompous term papers. I'm Macabre#6994 on Discord.

These two projects are both released DAILY and are pretty high commitment. only apply if you can do edits daily or in mega-batches for the near future

Have you guys thought of maybe distributing the work between two editors for the daily release ones? Like every other day basis or smth. I'm still so hella surprised that no ones taken Seizing Dreams esp... ITS SO GOOOOOOD (I've had my eye on it for a while lol)

Yes, mega batches

For SD, we have two amazing Editors who are doing great work on the current chaps, but it’s quite a heavy workload cause the chaps are long and it’s x7 a week (SD isn’t easy to edit either ) so it would be very helpful if we could get another editor on our team

We have a mega batch and a bunch of enthusiastic SD fans (me, Ale and Dollars hehe) waiting for the future editor

Game Live Stream looks good too, BL/Horror is not as widely seen as some other tropes. Love the new projects you guys have taken up!

 

1 - how many hours a week can you commit? Actually this depends on schoolwork, but if its just editing, then I could probably spare 7h at least.
2 - are you a native english speaker? English is my first language, if that's what you're asking. (Chinese is my second/mother-tongue, though I can't claim to be very proficient in it)
3 - do you have any editing/proofreading experience? I'm a newbie, sorry.
4 - do you have/use discord? Uh, is this necessary? If it's necessary, I can... figure out how to use it?
5 - which projects were you interested in? or anything is fine? If it's between SD and GLB, then I'd prefer GLB.
(I've recently picked up the second arc of a novel, if you need to refer for english quality? But I've yet to have my site approved/added to NU as a group.)

 

Am I too late? I’d like to be an editor, but I don’t know if my English is good enough. Is it possible for you to show me what it looks like before? If I’m not good enough, I can be a proofreader.

1 - I can commit 8 hours a week, in the afternoon. 4 pm—12 am Canadian time.
2 - I wasn’t born in Canada, but I have lived in Canada almost all my life, and I only know English. So I hope my English is good XD
3 - I don’t have any experience in editing or proofreading.
4 - I have discord, but I barely use it.
5 - I’m more interested in Game, Live Broadcast, since I read that one, but I’m fine with whatever.
