How strong do you think Superman would be in a cultivation world? Superman gets his strength from absorbing the suns energy and gets more energy when he is close to it. He also gets more strength around stronger suns. A xianxia world should have a way stronger sun than earth.
there is a limit at how much energy he can absorb at times so even if he have a bigger or hot sun (stronger in your case) it's shouldn't change the ammount of strength he have---
Superman would defo be OP (here he's lifting 200 quintillion tonnes with one arm, and it's stated that it's not his upper limit), but he'd still get killed by the really top level cultivators from some series like MGA or Er Gen's stories. We've seen that Superman sucks at dealing with magic. He'd get wrecked by soul attacks and other magical abilities, like people manipulating universal laws. So... stupidly OP with lots of solar power, but not so OP that he can do whatever he likes. Plenty of "unfathomable old monsters" would be able to slap him to death. ETA: On the other hand, if he decided to become a cultivator and use his ability to absorb solar energy to boost his cultivation base, that would be a different story... But then again maybe not; he might get bottlenecked by his comprehension. Who knows?
Does DragonBall world not count as a Cultivation World? I thought the Superman v Goku argument has been around forever.
Well, appearently sun rays aren't his only source of power, he can also absorb nuclear powers and depending on what other types of energy he absorbs he can get other powers not to mention there are different versions of him, like the golden superman prime who got nearly godly powers So depending on which version you are speaking about, you are either making a better hero or the greatest menace ever made
But isn’t Superman an insane super genius? I thought he could figure out impossible math problems in an instant. He also has perfect combat skills.
With how big the Cultivation Worlds are I doubt Superman Is anything special considering how Insane the authors make "Geniuses" later on In the stories. He would definitely be pretty strong though.
Using Superman(or other DC/Marvel characters with this kind of power level) is useless Most author would Retcon(Retroactive continuity) its power level. They can make superman can deal with those cultivator or not. Unless that cultivator power level is on par with Cosmic Being. That would be entirely different story
You're assuming that he couldn't also cultivate. Many different races and physiques exist that can do so. His likely wouldn't matter at all since he can breed with humans. Also, I doubt his material nemisis would be found since he'd be in a different deminsion/plane of existence in a cultivator world. Hypothetically, however, he would just have a higher starting point. He wouldn't need to worry about immortaility, because he'd already have it. He could hole up somewhere cultivating even without additional resources. Time would kill off all his enemies and he could come out 100,000+ years later and make a name for himself as someone different if he had to. That said, there would likely be others with similar physiques as his. It'd be how he chose to play it. Especially since he doesn't tend to kill people. He'd need some sealing space to toss his enemies in and carry around with him so that they wouldn't go off and bring their boss < boss' boss < boss' boss' boss+ ad. infinitum.
You know, rather than superman, what if Deadpool goes to a cultivation world? Imagine the possibilities and the spoilers
He would need to be seriously adapted to the settings, but there's on major flaw or weakness. No telephone booths to change clothes in (weren't there a lot of those events with older superheroes ?)
I imagine he'd become a cultivator in a cultivator world. He'd probably be like one of those races that are naturally powerful body cultivators. There's a high chance that he'd get killed for being too righteous.
