    lol toika says that all the time with his novels. Hell, he even maid one of his mc's a skeleton to laugh at the readers, but it's still gunna be another harem. so even if an author claims to hate harem, that dosnt mean much.

    That's not quite true. This is a manga set in the modern day, with no fantasy elements. None of Toika's stuff do that. There are very few Japanese stuff that end in an actual harem that do not involve fantasy elements such as isekai. There are differences between the type of publication, genre, and intended audience that makes this unlikely to be a harem.
    How many mangas without fantasy or sci-fi elements can you name that have a harem end?
