Discussion Redo or Reincarnation

Would you rather, when you die, regress back to when you were 5 years old or reincarnate into a 5 year old body(so you don't have to deal with experiencing being a baby)?

You keep your memories so would you have a second chance or a second life?

 

Second chance for me definitely. I would choose my own family over some strangers any day. Plus you already have an understanding of the future and yourself so you can make decisions and actions to try and reach your ideal

 

A second chance, because I can try to fix my past mistakes and I'll know the events that come up. And I don't think I'll be able to associate with a "second" family if I'm reincarnated with my memories intact.

 

Second chance without a doubt. Not only can you use your foreknowledge to a minimal extent, you already are surrounded by familiar people and objects. I wouldn't be able to really interact with a bunch of new people like that.

 

Not to mention you'll have a head start in shool. I would be considered a child prodigy!!!

 

I would rather redo because I get to know what would happen in the future based on my past life. I would know what to avoid and what to do to get a better outcome. If I get to reincarnate though, it would be like starting from scratch again. Unless I would get an upgrade from my previous body. Oh, the countless possibilities!

 

Reincarnation might not turn out a good option, like find out you are stuck in some conflict because of some special family circumstances, power struggle, might become gender bent, nothing says that the new body will be better than the old one, etc... (I can think of several other things, like there might be no internet and that would sadden me a lot) so it is a Redo.

Reincarnation.
I'll try new things.
It really sound like a risky idea compared to just redo your more familiar past life. But it is exciting somehow, new places, new people, new experiences, it basically means a whole new world.

 

I would rather do it again because i made alot of mistakes in my life. It i can do it over, mabey i can atone for at least some of it.

I can't imagine having another family, so I would choose a second chance ...

 

Second life. I don't think re-doing my current life helps much so I rather bet of a new uptake instead. Who knows, my second life could be an isekai?

 

Redo. It is a more stable life. Knowing the future gives you a clear edge over simply reincarnating to who knows who (or what). While it might get a bit boring, changing the future leave you with more avenues to explore.

 

I would rather reincarnate because i really don't want to re-experience my past, which still haunts me. I dont want to re-live all of the terrible memories...

 

tough choice. second chance, even though you possibly forgo powers, immortality, magic and a lot more. A fresh start is what I wanna do, excluding the military shit, I don't see the point of that.

 

What people think they will do if they got a second chance be it reincarnation or second chance: Fix all their mistakes, show off as a genius and live the awesome life.

What will happen in reality: We will sit around and procrastinate like lazy bums that we are. (In case od 2nd chance we might buy some stocks we know will do well and be rich lazy bums)

But please, if we wanted to change our future, we would be doing it now instead of procrastinating. Laziness doesn't get fixed with reincarnation. And due to our mental age, the flow of time will pass by faster and we might even be worse off.

 

Redo seems like a safer option. So I'll also go for that, if I have to select one from those and not continue as it is now..

But it will probably depend on my mood. I might go for reincarnation if I'm bored and need something new.
