I didn’t reach that part so I don’t know exactly why yet Spoiler: Childhood memories When they were children ML climbed a tree while playing with MC. At first, MC thought that she could climb after him but fell middle way. She thought that she died but heard ML’s voice. When she opened her eyes she was surprised that ML was crying because he thought that she died (she didn’t read the book yet) So far, I think that the time he spent with her during their childhood was the reason why he fell for her. Spoiler: Does he see her as a doll? there was a time when they were talking and she couldn’t help but ask who does he see as ‘dolls’ and he replied “everyone but sister” MC couldn’t feel happy since she knew that she wasn’t his real sister Later, MC gets attacked by a snake but ML saves her at the last minute but he got bitten in her stead which made her break in tears and ask him why does he go this far for her? The knight asked MC if he should chese the guy who stole her wallet but MC said that it’s fine since there was only a stone in the wallet Spoiler: Why? One time, MC went with ML but had her wallet stolen. ML ordered his men to find the guy who stole her wallet and kill him. The result was that ML’s men killed the thief by explosions and the Heroine died There were other plans but they all failed since MC was miraculously prepared for everything. Suddenly, someone found them (the guys who want to kidnap MC) and killed them all. Of course, it was ML. While standing in the middle of the bloody scene, he looked at his bandaged hand and heard MC’s voice telling him to rest which made him smile gently.
That’s so true! I kinda love how heroine-Chan is also a victim of fate. Instead of being rewarded for being a reincarnator she’s being punished. It’s as if the world knows she isn’t the true heroine.
