I never watched the show because all the people who ever recommended it to me tell me how there are vivid sex scenes and incest and whatnot...and that kinda made me be interested in it less. Like, if all it is is porn then no matter how much I like porn, its basically the same as the 90 gigs in my homework folder on my computer. People should really talk more about the truly great aspects of a movie or series, like its writing or visuals and such. People watch such for the plot really, or else all we'd do would be watching pornhub. Nobody would be watching those blockbuster movies that come out, nobody expects nudity in them while going in for the first time(most of the time). If its truly a great show, I think I want to watch it. These scenes took me one step closer to giving it a try. Thanks. Edit: Also, 1812 Overture. One of my favorite Tchaikovsky pieces. It's so brilliant and it just sends your mind to a different beautiful place.
From the articles i've been seeing lately, the last season seems to be going down the toilet story-wise. I tried watching it a few years back but didnt get past the first episode or two. I even tried the novels but never got past the few chapter or two. It just felt too... uninteresting as hell to me.
Just watch until the end of Season 5 and forget that later seasons exist. You'll be delivered from many potential sufferings.
I was thinking of reading and watching the show book by book. I hope the seasons won't be as disappointing as Harry Potter movies were compared to the books.
Yeah, books got more character arcs and world building, obviously Both got its pros and cons. Well, have fun! It is a good series
Its roughly 100 times better than even the best stuff on NU. Years of MTL and trash novels might have caused permanent damage to your mind.
Nah, i tried both long before i found NU. Aside from that, i dont MTL novels i havent actually read that many trash novels (moslty because i drop them pretty quickly or dont even read them in the first place)
Season 1, 2, 3, and 4 are awesome. 5, 6 and 7 are good. While I love the war scenes of season 8, it is not as appealing as the earlier seasons. Good compared to other series nonetheless, just not as good as its predecessor seasons.
It was bad, the writing part. Aside from that, the acting, the cinematography, everything else was top notch. Some scenes were too damn awesomely shot.
