if the name was too... (how would you translate 太有碍感?) or too appaling

    2. 名讳
Does any of you know other translation than taboo name?

    How dare she nowadays .....

    Her eyes turned?

He said that just to tease her, ........, how could he let her go?

Behind, was followed by her Ladyship's fanfare?

    Emperor's promise?

The more you leave the more childish you acted?

Her voice was so seductive it dripped water? (this translation is too literal I think)

    Lucky bet?

It's the calligraphy painting written by FL, but since I'm not good with this verse things I have no idea what this text means

    1. Appalling
    2. A title/name for people you respect. Eg. you can't call the emperor/your teacher by his name
    3. Unruly clamoring
    4. Eyes moving about/glancing around
    5. Need context, maybe she knocked into someone?
    6. Procession
    7. Archaic meaning - Emperor's words are definite
    8. Need context, might mean someone is becoming worse
    9. You are right
    10. Wager/Bet a stake
    11. This was modified from another saying, might mean living does not guarantee joy, vigor in calligraphy does. The second half doesn't flow well tbh

    1)too appalling
    2)title/ honorable name
    3) currently, how could she still dare to act so brazenly?
    5) she come knocking on my door by her own will.
    6)ladyship’s support
8)he is getting increasingly out of hand.
    9) her voice was drenched with charm/seduction?
    10) wager a bet
    11) She signed off the painting with her writing strength strong and firm, ‘what’s joy in life?’.

    5) Sounds like she walked into the joke, so he had to say it.
    7) Either emperor's decree or word of the emperor, depends on situation.
    8) Sounds like the older you get, the worse you look/capable you are. Depends if that's an idiom or if there's more context.
    9) Ya, too literal. Something more like "He was lulled away by her seductive voice." Well, that's assuming he was maybe not, but something along the lines of her seductive voice was smooth like a river.
    11) "How does one truly live, except through the stroke of their brush?" sounds the best to me. Couple different things it could mean, though.
