I still play Adventure Quest up to this day, but I dropped Dragonfable quite some time ago~

I'd like to give you a summary, but I'm totally out of touch with it too, so... I dunno! xD

It seems that after 11ish (well, 13 rn, but it started changing 2ish years ago) years of crappy gameplay, they finally decided to give their gameplay some love though, they're now making stuff that makes your classes get special skillsets, challenge bosses with interesting mechanics and a few other interesting thingies~

Hey all.

Certain things in my life are going to be coming into play soon that limit my ability to interact with the community here.
Basically what I'm trying to say is that I'll be gone until mid late July due to IRL stuff.
I'll still ~officially~ be here until morning the day after tomorrow, in which I will be departing for a long while.
@AliceShiki since it likely will concern you, I do still plan on being a member once I come back, so feel free to leave me on the list, but I will be completely radio-silence until July.

To everyone else: Cheers to everything you do and, upon my return, I'm eager to learn all about the interesting happenings in AG.

I never played DF. But AQW was great when I was younger. Haven't played it in a while, though...

Oof, AQW... Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it I guess, but in the AE community AQW is generally the game that is badmouthed the most! xD

I tried playing it in the beta and gave up very quickly, gameplay seemed terrible and the art was just as terrible... >.>

 

Yeah, that game was honestly pretty terrible. But for little me and his friends, you could sink hours into it, and that made anything worth it. It kept you busy if you managed to not get bored quickly.

 

Mechquest is my favourite Artix game other then that punting one XD!

I remember getting back to AQW for a brief moment during 2014 because there was a cross-game event and I needed to go to play a bunch of games I didn't normally play in order to get the rewards... It was funny, a bunch of people were asking what class I was using and how to get it... Poor sods will never be able to experience the power of my Beta Berserker armor! xD

Still, that was pretty much the last time I touched AQW.

It had a good premise, but wasn't very well executed IMO, then it had a serious power creep gear-wise, that made most of the old items completely obsolete.

Then there is the fact that the game isn't being developed anymore, so there isn't much charm to it anymore...

Punting Twilly was always fun though~

 

Ah, AQW. The only saga I considered that whole game was the Chaos Lord saga, the new saga sucked. I'm still around in that game just to help some new players with killing some bosses. And that also stopped when I got ill last time.

Should get back to writing, but... Thor: Ragnarok comes first.
(AE aren't going to develop AQW anytime soon, as they're into AQ3D progresses, it was okay gameplay, but it's grindey as hell.)

I heard that 3D gets pretty repetitive really quickly, do I haven't checked it out yet. I've been thinking of diving back into the masochistic pit of Dwarf Fortress lately. I haven't played in a long time, and I don't really remember how it all works... So I'm prepared for the pain.
And I've been missing so many Marvel movies. And while I've seen Ragnarok, I still haven't seen Endgame. ;-;

Trust me, it's grindy as hell. I joined up during open beta, the progression was just
Farm mats to make armour > Kill stronger mobs for better mats > Make better armour > ....

 

Meanwhile I just started watching the whole MCU movies. ;w;
