It's like mentioned in the review section on NU. In far away land, there was a powerful family. Its patriach was always born with spiritual item but when Su Xuanyan, the next patriach was born, he was born with spiritual spirit. The spirit was so weak because the might of heaven wouldn't allow both of them to exist together in the same plane. So the family sent the spirit away. They possesed power of space and time and was able to send people thorough it. Later, after thousand of years, Su Xuanyan went to find the spirit, our Xue Ling. Xue Ling who had grew up and became proud nine tailed fox demon, was of course shocked when he heard the truth about his birth. Suddenly this stranger came and claimed that they were bound together. He refused the connection and wanted to sever it. Su xuanyan, as the world holder, then made a bet with xue ling. Xue ling would go to different world to chase his tails. If after the worlds were completed, and he didn't feel anything then he would be free. But if he felt nostalgia then he would stay with su xuanyan forever. Xue ling slowly got his memory back. He remembered his first memory where he was found in the middle of snowy forest. Thus he was named xue ling (xue = snow) by the elder who found and later took care of him. Of course, we all know who's gonna win the bet. Xue ling fell in love with su xuanyan too. And they could spend the rest of their immortal lives playing in various small world.
After they got together, MC and ML chose to do simple world, (for their honeymoon) so they order system to find the most suitable world. System did. Mc was suspicious though. Surely there was no free lunch in the world. So, what was the catch? System happily replied. "It's because in two years, there will be zombie epidemic. So you can enjoy peaceful and comfortable life for two years and then enjoy the thrill of apocalypse." Mc of course ruined everything by finding medicine to cure the disease. Thus no end of the world and he and ML lived happily. System was like @#$%&!& but he finally gave up. It wasn't as if MC hadn't ruined previous worlds ending.

I actually don't read all the arcs and merely skip it. But two of the remaining arcs are: 'little emperor on the throne' and the last arc is 'entertainment world'. About little emperor on the throne arc MC's body in this world was the young emperor. He entered the world when the palace was attacked by his own uncle who wanted to get the throne. MC of course escaped and took with him jade and tiger seal. Oh, and this world setting is ancient ABO universe so MC was a ger who could get pregnant. He had red mole on his face. In original story, young emperor was caught by the rebels army and got jailed. In the prison, they found out he was ger and raped him. Thus he commited suicide. Uncle became the next emperor, world protag who was rebirth person, became empress. But his life ended tragically too. In this world, MC went to the south to ask help from south king. This south king was ML so of course he worked extra hard to gain MC's favour. They returned to the palace and MC managed to get his throne back. There was this transmigrated person who became left prime minister while world protag became right prime minister (from empress to PM). Uncle was sent to south area (he later regretted his action and tried to get world protag back). Ml and MC adopted child from distant royal family. When the child came of age he married the transmigrated person/left prime minister. The kid was so happy but the next day MC abdicted, leaving his son very annoyed. Father and dad wanted to travel the world and delegated the job to me. So unfair.
It was never explained actually. Maybe he had time in the south to think over his actions. But in this arc, everyone had their happy endings. The young emperor was under his mother's control before he ascended the throne. They also hid the fact that he was ger. The weak, young emperor was inexperienced and didn't have ability. So, the uncle thought he was better suited to be next emperor. After uncle became emperor and world protag became empress, they drifted apart and started to lose trust in each other caused of politics, concubines etc. Xue ling even thought that world protag's fate in the end maybe was even worse than origMC. When he returned to the capital, xue ling contacted world protag. They met and talked. He saw that MC wasn't as he thought. Mc was really a capable emperor. Xue ling asked for his support and bet with him. "In the end, will my uncle choose you or the throne?" The ministers were shocked. Suddenly the empress changed his station and became right prime minister. While the uncle emperor was exiled to south. And young emperor regained his throne.
*pets this baby spoiler thread that started it all...* okay, so. i'm back! i know we're almost all caught up with everything but here's the spoiler/summary for arc 10~ Spoiler: arc 10 setup & summary - This arc is set in an angsty youth story that was very dogblood-ish (unnecessary angsty drama) and had a BE (bad ending). - MC transmigrates into the body of Ning Simu, who is the world!MC's long lost younger brother - ML is the world!MC's best friend, who actually had/used to have a crush on world!MC (this was arranged by the system because it wanted to make things difficult for MC, lol) - world!MC's name is Mu Sichao, he's a famous 'god' in the online audio drama circles/industry, though it's a hobby as he's a professor in real life. he has a flirtatious personality, and the 'online pairings' he's been in are numerous~ - ML's body, Wen Ruoyi, also joined him in the online audio drama circles, and is also famous - for being 'gentle', and aloof - he never engages in 'relationships'. - world!ML is a student at world!MC's university, he joined the online audio drama circle and was once grouped up with world!MC, who flirted with him (like he does with everyone), and developed a crush... he tried to get with world!MC but Mu Sichao basically didn't even know who he was. he was broken hearted, but then discovered that a toy pig he just purchased would allow him to turn into Mu Sichao's pet cat at night if he slept with it... so he found out world!MC's real life identity and tried to get together with him from there. xiin: i have no fricken clue where the toy pig came from and also no idea why that was even a thing... but hey, BE dogblood novel plot. - world!MC and world!ML eventually get together, but then an obstacle happened - Ning Simu (MC's original body host) - Wen Ruoyi had a crush on world!MC, but because world!MC to him was so sacred and perfect, he didn't want to sully him and never confessed. instead he went to find a substitute - Ning Simu - Wen Ruoyi had found Ning Simu online, they met during a recording for an audio drama. Ning Simu was an online singer, so he had come in to sing for one of their drams. Wen Ruoyi liked his voice, so they started getting closer... to Wen Ruoyi, it was curiosity, but to Ning Simu, it was a major crush/love - Wen Ruoyi and Ning Simu eventually met up offline too, but a lot of people online flamed Ning Simu for getting close to their 'god', and so Ning Simu often cried to Wen Ruoyi about it. Wen Ruoyi didn't have deep feelings for him, so he didn't really care much... but one day, when Ning Simu went to find Wen Ruoyi, he saw Wen Ruoyi with Mu Sichao - Mu Sichao (being Ning Simu's long lost older brother) looks quite similar to him, so Ning Simu realized he had only been a stand-in - It was also because of this that Mu Sichao and Ning Simu reunited after having been separated since Ning Simu's birth... - .. But the heartbroken Ning Simu went off on a destructive streak after discovering that Wen Ruoyi had been using him as a substitute. He tried to suicide, and caused a series of misunderstandings and stress between the four (World!MC, world!ML, Wen Ruoyi, and himself) - Eventually, Wen Ruoyi & him thoroughly broke up, Ning Simu went off to travel and was killed in a tour bus incident - World!MC and world!ML broke up too under the strain, world!MC went to fulfil his dead brother's wishes and wander the world, Wen Ruoyi lived the rest of his life stuck in regret over Ning Simu... - Basically none of them had a happy ending ---- Arc Summary - XL transmigrates into the body of Ning Simu the day after he discovered that Wen Ruoyi had only been using him as a substitute. His eyes are swollen, he feels like shit - apparently he had been crying all night - He gets up, records a song and posts it online. Wen Ruoyi couldn't sleep that night - he actually (in this version at least, because he's ML's soul now) genuinely somewhat interested in Ning Simu, so he checks online and hears the song... and ends up waiting outside XL's apartment door all night - XL wakes up, realizes he has a fever and goes out to buy meds, runs into WR who was outside the door, is bundled back into bed because he's sick while WR goes to get meds and takes care of him - XL says he's breaking up. WR refuses but XL insists, then blocks/deletes him on all contact channels after WR goes home. WR goes home thinking that he just needs to let XL 'cool down' for a few days... - WR realizes that something went wrong when he doesn't hear from XL at all. goes online and discovers he's been blocked, his phone has been blocked too. Meanwhile XL is still singing, and telling his fans that he's broken up~ - WR borrows Mu Sichao (World!MC)'s phone to call XL since his number is blocked, XL picks up, WR tells him not to hang up, then says he wants to meet.. XL reluctantly tells him to meet at the school WR & MS teach at. (WR is also a professor). - When they meet, XL ignores WR and says hello to MS instead, and asks if he is his older brother, then says that he realized there was a familiarity the other day when he went to see WR and found WR & MS together - MS & XL acknowledge that they are brothers, exchange contact info while WR and World!ML (who works at the cafe where they sat down to talk) are jealous and fuming to the side - WR offers to take XL home, XL agrees and says it's his opportunity to talk, WR says he doesn't want to break up, XL says they've already broken up... WR asks for another chance, XL says its WR's choice to pursue him, but it's his (XL's) choice if he wants to accept or not - meanwhile MS & World!ML have already gotten together and MS explains to world!ML that that was his brother.. - WR begins his campaign online to get XL back - first, this god who normally never flirted or acknowledged any partners used his weibo to ask everyone else to help him get off XL's blacklist, XL was singing at the time and his audience told him what was happening... - XL unblocks him on QQ, WR changes his online alias - it used to be a pair with MS's, but now it matches with XL's. - WR shows up every day at XL's place, feeds him, cooks for him (this is really sweet because XL almost cries happy tears the first time he eats ML's cooking - apparently it's the same taste in every world and he missed it), takes care of him and sometimes XL unconsciously responds before he remembers he's supposed to be playing hard to get~ < insert lots of fluff about XL & WR's courtship and basically nothing about the transforming pig/cat world!ML > - this world was supposed to be a 'holiday' for XL anyway, so it was all easy. he would accomplish his task as long as everyone had a happy ending. - the four of them attend an offline audio event, after which XL asks WR to move in (in true tsundere fashion)~ eventually they go wander around the world and travel the way XL's original body owner wanted - world!ML & world!MC break up and get back together again many times but eventually figure it out and stay together too. but they're always compared to the 'model couple' XL & WR who have always been together ever since WR made his weibo comments wayyy back then - and then they all live happily ever after When XL goes back to the system space, his powers are stablized and he attempts to unlock some of his hidden memories, he only manages to get the tiniest snippet where baby-ML says, "I'd rather lose him if it means he'll be able to live." whoop. it's been a while since i've done one of these~ also, the emperor/ger arc that @purple_mangosteen gave spoilers for is arc 11 so i won't be doing that one!
