I have started to read DD it a really great novel but no updates since 2017. Please someone tell me this is coming back.
The translator has caught up with the bookm releases last time I checked. So until the next book is printed and available yup. Check the Tl's page for the latest update
Same Blame the guy that made a whole wiki page for plagiarized contents in DD, despite how many of those "proofs" were freaking absurd and common that if you called them "plagiarized" then almost all other novels/works also "plagiarized" something else.
What? Okay there were some references to some content but that does not make it an infringement. Can someone just pick up the WN from where we left the LN I mean if the story is still the same thereby there should be not much difference if one just continues with the WN
As others have said, the translator is caught up and is simply waiting for the author's next volume. There was some plagiarism controversy, but it was apparently nonsense and the author has never made any kind of statement about dropping the novel over it, or for any other reason. You can find this and more on the translator's site. I've added a 'resolved' prefix to this thread as your question has been answered (as much as it can be) and to prevent further confusion.

I believe this one is a case where the light novel dramatically differs from the web novel. If someone did pick it up, they'd have to start from the beginning and the story wouldn't really be the same anyway. At least for DD as you know it, you just gotta wait on the author. Ofc, the web novel might be nice to read, too.
That's the problem dude, The author already had a complete plot ready from start to end, Even if it he wants some kind alterations 2 years is a lot of time for that. I don't want this to be dropped that is probably what happened. Due to sales drop or something
