BTS had a pretty large international fan base for quite a while now. So I disagree. It was inevitable for them to do so.

To a certain degree I think you're right. Altough I have to say most of those people are either the fanatics or the fake fans who are loud as fuck but not many(like in most communities, the bad ones are always the loudest). Their music is just like pop in the west but with just enough difference to make the stale genre feel fresh and like someone mentioned before just the fact that you don't understand the lyrics can make you focus on the music more(you can just look up the lyrics later if you really want to understand it) I was always drawn to music in foreign languages for this exact reason even english ones. And just before you say oooh but pop is trash I listen to "xy" etc. let me tell you this just because you don't enjoy it others still do pop is called pop for a reason guess what I listen to all kinds of genres myself pop being one of them. I don't know when it became a trend to blindly hate on popular things but that's just too edgy for me sorry.
Well BTS ARMY or whatever they call themselves are pure toxic. They are toxic to the levels that they beat league gamers being toxic ingame. I just saw a post that a BTS fan badmouthing Capt.America actor Chris Evans for using bts word in a photo. The photo was for a behind the scenes photos of End Game. Fucking morons.
First, they weren't always pretty boys. Second, their lyrics are beautiful. Third, i have no idea why you are making us sound like thirsty hoes, we just really click with bts and their music. please watch what you say, you could have said that better without ruining my day.
Like I said in my later comment those are the fanatics and the fake fans(the ones that are only after the looks) every kpop band and every community has them. Sadly bts's are even more obnoxious then others that I can't deny. However that's not the fault of the band.

No? Fandom unspoken rules, "Don’t go around mentioning your fave groups on posts about kpop unrelated to them." Lots of them are just brats that started to know about kpop through bts and bts only. Instantly inciting wars with other fandom if ppl start to slightly disagree with "bts is number one" As a fan, those lots are pretty much an embarassment.
