The one who saves him that time was a young monk and they live together at a temple. Later on, someone ordered to assassinate that young man as that young man is the elder son of this one guy (Marquis(?) or nobleman (?)) but they thought MC was the son because that Marquis is handsome. That young monk is not handsome, he has his mom's features, so the Marquis and his son don't lookalike. That young monk died while protecting MC from the bad guy, and MC swear to get revenge for his friend. He went to the Marquis house (the one who ask for assassinate is a person from Marquis house, they didn't want the elder son to come back home and take whatever right/money/etc from the marquis house, so MC need to go there and investigate who did it.) and didn't tell the Marquis that he wasn't his son, nor deny, and from there on, he starts his journey to find the real villains. In this story, MC has the same body condition as Conan (where suddenly someone died/or some thing happen near him, somehow) and began to solve the mystery by using forensic and medical thingy. ML in this story is the Emperor's nephew who has the right to be Emperor and Emporer likes ML, he gave ML permission to go anywhere with his 5000 of black cavalry (or is it 3000? I forgot the number, but a lot of people..haha) and ML can give punishment to whoever he wants. (Everyone is afraid of him) This novel is HE. There are several cases that MC solve while trying to figure out the real bad man. There is a case that blows my mind and I need to tell someone about it Spoiler: 10 years ago case After MC solve several cases using forensic knowledge, he gains some reputation and one day a woman comes to him and ask him to help her solve this one case. His brother, who is healthy suddenly dies. They can't find any bruise or scar or anything that show his brother was killed by someone, but the sister believes that his brother is killed, his brother was somewhat rich and after he dies, his wife married her cousin. the sister suspects his brother's wife and her cousin (if my memory serves me correctly) The brother was killed 10years ago and everyone was like, what can we do? MC asked for them to dig the grave and he began to investigate the skeleton, From what he and another forensic officer see, the victim pelvis and backbone has blood.......... or something (well, I'm bad in english, and this is Eng + Science + MTL....) but from what I understand, it goes something like the brother's ass was plug with something and he died because of it.. And I was like, dangg~ did they raped his brother to death or what?? I was NAIVE. they did more horrible than that. His brother's wife and her cousin use 2 firecrackers and put it into his brother's ass and explode it. Before they lit it, both of them were like "Who should do the honour?" And I was like.. Ffffffffffffrick!!! That's just out of my mind. and his brother is a nice guy too, but his wife wants the money and this happens. Even MC was speechless. Spoiler: 76 or 72 parts, can't remember... The last (or second last) case that MC solve is about 2 woman (I think there is another one man too, but I forgot), a servant girl and a pregnant women with twins, were killed and their body was dismembered into 76 parts. Someone found their hand at the river, the head at mountain and etc. And this case has to do with the person who killed MC's friend The novel has a nice plot, character development and everything else, 100% recommend you guys to read it.

Conan already have 940 episodes, I bet they gonna do 1000 episode special or something, and how many people got killed, in a year, and they all somehow near Conan? I wonder why no one notices this and takes Conan to temple or something. Spoiler: The Story - prologue The family patriarch, Wen Yuanhou has married to 3 women, his legal wife, Wei Yuhua didn't have any children while his concubine, Yin Yuehan has 2 sons and a daughter (I'm not sure about his other concubine, they didn't have that much presence in the story). Feeling threated, Wei Yuhua find and call back Wenhou's eldest son. This is because if the legal wife didn't have son, the concubine has the opportunity to change their status and be the legal wife. She also has a higher percentage to make her eldest son as 'the son of the world'. Son of the world pretty much means he is the next family patriarch. At first, Wei Yuhua is reluctant to bring back Mc's friend, but thinking on how that cheap woman will get her legal wife status, she went through with this plan, hoping and planning to bring MC's friend to her side. Wen yuanhou is not the same as other noblemen. His position in the court is the closest to the emperor and he gains his reputation from below, from ordinary civilian, he climbs up the stairs to what he has now. Before he gains the reputation, he was married to quite a decent woman name Luo something, she is not beautiful but her love, respect, and energy are 200% towards Wei Yuanhou. (this pretty much what happened, I hope I didn't miss anything) When the assassination happens, MC was saved by his friend and Zhou Tong, a swordsman/bodyguard was entrust by yuanhou to bring back his eldest son. MC friend, Yuanjue, was killed and MC saw a green tattoo on the killer body, when Zhou Tong saw it, his face change and he didn't tell MC anything bout the tattoo. btw MC is already 16 years old now. MC meet ML in 2nd chapter, ML, or King Zhao (Zhao Wang), named Feng Huan was the son of Xian wang, the brother of current Emperor. The emperor really likes ml and If it had not been for the opposition of the ministers, or even for the protection of ancestral precepts, the emperor would have made King Zhao as the crown prince and take him as his son. For more than a hundred years since the founding of the kingdom, King Zhao was the first heir king who broke the precedent that the imperial clan could not lead troops and repeatedly led the army to calm the chaos. Spoiler: The first case The first case As MC was thinking who is the mastermind of the assassination, he heard a woman scream, she wants to go back but a man stops her, turns out that the female's family is in deep shi.....problem. She was from Taoyuan village, there was a guy name Zhang Dalang Somehow, he had a fight with Wang Xiaolang (the female, 12 years old little brother). The next day, Zhang's family brought him over. That man was covered with injuries and He lay on down and could not move. Zhang family ask compensation but Wang family don't have money so they ask Wang family to give her daughter and marry her to Dalang plus her dowry will be handled by Zhang family, and if the dowry is not enough, they need to give every year. How could wang family willing, even if Dalang is not injured at all, they don't want to let their daughter marry him, Dalang is a famous bachelor; a loafer who sneaks around, eats, drinks and gamble. Even the other people in Zhang family is useless/not good. Not only they are stingy, but they also greedy and lazy. People said only the person who his/her brain was stuck at the door, willing to get married to Zhang family. Everyone in the village was baffled, who could a grown-up man, be beaten by a 12 years old boy? and they all live quite near to each other, but they didn't hear any scream due to pain. But it was the truth that Xiao lang did beat Dalang with a stick, so they can't argue with that. When MC heard this, he ask zhou tong to go to the village. Zhang Dalang's injury looks bad, it seems like there weren't a slice of meat on him, and the wounds look dark, the village chief try to erase the wound by using water, in case Zhang family is really lying, but he cant erase it. As the fight between zhang and wang escalated, MC said "Amitabha, a slanderer and liar, will be beaten to hell after death. The little ghost breaks open the mouth of the visitor, clamps the tongue with iron clamps, elongates slowly, pulls out, and then goes to the hell of scissors and the hell of iron trees." (Remember, MC is from the temple before, he and his friend were both monks) Zhang family was angry, is this monk saying that they lie? The village chief asks if MC has any evidence. MC asks if there is any beech tree here? After hearing this thing, the Zhang family shut up. they face were pale and the village chief knows something wrong. Later they try to find the tree and went to Zhang family's house, Dalang stops them and forgot that he is supposed to be 'seriously injured'. Mc threatens them by saying the consequences of blackmailing and both Zhang mum and dalang run away. Villagers all can see that Dalang suddenly become better and know that dalang is faking it. MC explain of what effect that the fake injury using beech tree will look like. One of ML's escort go back to ml and tell what happens in the village to ml.

If we are talking about ML and MC relationship, it will be nopee~ ML is soooo sweet to MC, and use his power wantonly as long as MC needs it. He also respects MC's decision if MC didn't want his help. He is even willing to be married as male wife to MC. Male wife has somewhat restricted privileges (can't remember what), so to make sure MC stays the forensic MC, he doesn't care about what others talks behind him; If we are talking about cases, then yess, there are blood and tears because people died unjustly and MC is here to solve the mystery and give back justice to the victims family.
