I may not be able to sh*tpost properly, but at least I can do adequate ship-posting. Right...?
    ...
    Somehow this feels sad.

    *Ahem*

Today, I waste my time on the Yamato. I will be going over what/who the Yamato is, why we call her a Hotel, her partially paraphrased history according to Wikipedia, and then enter a tangent about Yamato Nadeshiko.

    What/who is Yamato?
The Yamato is lead ship of the Yamato-class warships, a Japanese battleship that was launched August 8, 1940. As the largest battleship created, she expended copious amounts of resources. She has two sister ships, being Musashi and Shinano. Although Shinano was converted during construction into an Aircraft carrier following Imperial Japan's loss of four carriers at Midway (Wikipedia). Just like Prinz Eugen, Yamato has also been "Kawaii-ed"; though only in Kancolle at the moment.

Why do some people call the Yamato, "Hotel"?
The Yamato's living conditions exceeded that of many other ships at the time. Some of the luxuries that were present are: Air conditioning, a gym, an elevator, and meals "which easily rivaled those made in exclusive restaurants in Tokyo," (Quora).

Partially Paraphrased History of the Hotel
The Hotel's story begins at Naval Base Kure, where her crew is trained. She is eventually sent out to attend the Battle of Midway, though only as a command ship for Admiral Yamamoto. Soon after she heads back to Kure following the severe defeat. On the trip back, she is sighted and attacked by the submarine USS Flying Fish, which misses its torpedoes. She then remains at port during the Guadalcanal Campaign due to lack of appropriate munitions for shelling islands (Wikipedia).

On February 11, 1943, Yamato loses the title of Flagship of the Combined Fleet to her sister. Musashi (Wikipedia).

Yamato and Musashi are then used as transport vessels, but encounter the submarine USS Skate as they sail to Truk from Yokosuka. Skate, having detected these behemoths, fires a spread of torpedoes at Yamato which garners a successful hit. This torpedo causes the hull to take on roughly 3,000 tons of water.

With the aid of Akashi nya~, she was able to make it to Truk and then to Kure for proper repairs (Wikipedia). The repair fee was forwarded to Teitoku of course.

Yamato remains for repairs at Kure from January 16, 1944, until February 3, 1944. Shortly afterwards, she is again dry-docked for upgrades to her radar and anti-aircraft armaments. Eventually she makes way to the Philippine sea, where her main role was as escort for Ozawa's Mobile Fleet. The most notable thing she did during the Battle of Philippine Sea was opening fire on returning Japanese aircraft by accident (Wikipedia).

    ...

A few months pass and the Battle of Leyte Gulf happens. During this, she is given black camouflage for her trip through San Bernardino Strait at night. During the Battle of Leyte Gulf, Yamato for the first and last time, gets to fire her main turrets at surface targets (Wikipedia). This is all I am paraphrasing cause looking at the other paragraphs to summarize on Wikipedia is scaring me.

    Yamato Nadeshiko
I'm just gonna quote Wikipedia since there isn't anything excess to cut down on:

"The term 'Yamato nadeshiko' is often used referring to a girl or shy, demure young woman and, in a contemporary context, nostalgically of women with good traits which are perceived as being increasingly rare." The name was made by "...combining the words Yamato, an ancient name for Japan, and nadeshiko, a delicate frilled pink carnation called Dianthus Superbus," (Wikipedia).

Here is a picture of Dianthus Superbus, taken from Seedcorner:

    Thank you for reading!

And Teitokus out there... make sure you don't sink her!

Especially after spending so much resources to get her... :blobsweat_2:

My favorite way to relax I generally utilize in New Year Party and thats, after the party and after eating I got sleepy and I go watch slice of life animes while drinking beer and later when I got drunk I go to bed and put some classical musics and keep drinking until fall in sleep.

I'll be honest, I stopped reading when I got to the Q&A stuff.

Anyway, have fun...I'll be here with my books and instruments (the two choices I picked on the poll).

The person in question has displayed uncertainty with their response to your query via, "Maybe?" The strike through indicates some form of uncertainty within that decision itself, implying they spent no moment of thought to the response. Possibly because they were busy. This idea is furthered by their statement, "Maybe when I get home from school, cause a phone ain't gonna cut it." This comment was made soon after, making it clear there could've been some activities underway, such as departure from an academic premise (Sweet, Post #8 ).

Their next post is "Exactly." Which is a response to your second post in the conversation which expressed your confusion. I assume this means they are just as confused as you are, or cannot be bothered to consider it in a serious manner. Their blog post "GJNKgn" also adds to the idea with statements such as, "I find that I can be frighteningly careless when it comes to various things. Furthermore, improvising appears to be much easier for me than planning ahead," (GJNKgn).

Perhaps they intended to correct any misunderstandings or errors post posting. However, another comment within that same blog suggests neglect of thought on their part: "...perhaps, I'm just too lazy to think."

In conclusion, @Bitter Sweet is an idiot. And their response is a result of this unfortunate affliction. "Exactly," is their way of admitting this.
