Im looking for magic and maybe some rpg elements such as skills and levels. Good examples may be Reincarnated Slime and Shield Hero. I don’t want it to be too grim or gory. The more overpowered, the better. I also love op badassery.

So you generally have 2 types of gaming fantasy.

Where you are transported to a game like World or just a world with Status screens etc..
The other in which it is a modern setting where the characters play a VR game or other game and you follow their adventures in and out of it.

Do you have a preference between the two or does it matter? Cause there's alot of OP stuff between the two of them.

    Has to be completed, huh?

Well, try Douluo Dalu. It's a Chinese cultivation novel but it's combat system is very akin to a video game leveling system. It's like none of that usual complicated cultivation bullshit, it's a simple and interesting system.

Also you can try Samayou Shinki no Duelist. It's good, but since its also one of my first novels I might be wearing rose tinted glasses for it(I hope I'm not cause it really made me feel some emotions while reading it). Also, it has quite an open ending, the problems brought up throughout the story gets dealt with properly but a bigger underlying mystery lies within which definitely needs a sequel.

Both are overpowered. The first one's MC grows stronger as the story progresses, but he's always the best at his skill level, and the second is OP from the get go.

I prefer the one where they are in an ACTUAL fantasy world rather than vr such as sao. One with actual living characters and laws regarding their world that is different from ours. Also, I like REALLY op mc’s. Like godly/broken op. It doesn’t have to be near the beginning, but I’d like them to end up at least being stupidly overpowered at the end. :p

Infinite Competitive Dungeon Society maybe? I mean good is a strong word... And I can't really remember how op he was. There are a few Korean novels Everyone Else is a Returnee in example that might fit.... But the genre is relatively new as a main genre focus, and most of the good Japanese/Chinese ones like that will be ongoing still.

I just realized rpg elements wasn't a strict need but only a maybe... I don't want to research my list D:. But there should be a good amount for just magic and op that are worth reading

I agree with Kairi in that DeathMarch almost feels complete. there's a sense of "whatever happens they'll be fine" so every new story arc just feels like "oh what sort of fun adventures are they going to do now?"

Hmm, a lot have already been mentioned... so i'll go with ones that aren't.

The Lazy King - this has a pretty sad ending, but other than that it meets your requirements. I mean MC takes ultimate attacks while sleeping only going ouch, How OP is that?

Dimensional Sovereign - MC while not super OP has it pretty easy mode, pretty much once you get past the first arc, most things are solved with a slash.

Evil God Average - MC is pretty OP as hell, to the point where just looking at a mighty dragon makes the dragon roll over and whimper in fear
