Apparently Qidian allows authors to delete reviews of their book. Yay! I’ve given up hope

    Its almost like its been well known that qidian is a money hungry two faced shit stain of a company. The fact you were still using the site until now is sad.

    The reason they're all the same is that everyone ignores those other qidian threads and then makes their own when they "discover" (insert any of 20 reasons not to support them). Easiest solution to end qidian threads is to just stop reading on qidian. If they get forced to change this crap then there won't be any more shocked "revelation" threads.

    o_O you're surprised by this? I figured it was encouraged, if not outright mandatory. I also figured they had a couple volunteers that would do the same just incase the author/translation team missed some backhanded comments... so not sure how this "last refuge" of yours lasted so long...

    At this point who cares? They treat reviews as a daily activity to farm exp. Not actual representations of the story. They boost specific novels in the power rankings.

    None of the systems there are legitimate. It's all just a thing to get you on microtransactions spending money.

    I feel I've been hating them for a while now... lol it was really bad about a year ago. Seemed like there was two or three new ones a day in novel general and in general chat...

    But in regards to authors wanting to delete user replies. That has to be a given, considering there is no such thing as free speech on any web platform. An author making an original story has the luxury of removing anything that is against their perspectives.
