I'm back again to that point in every novel addict's life when he/she can't find anything interesting enough to reignite that spark for reading. So I'm back here asking for recs. I'm looking for novels (including fanfics and originals) that have quickly caught your interest and make you binge the series with no brakes or minimal loss of momentum/interest even till this day. There are so many good and great novels, however, even most of those will have bumps that make you need to temporary drop it or just take a break especially if over time from waiting for the next release. And not every one of those will still hold your attention nor hit the ground running. Even some of my favorites and bests like Dial, Overlord, etc. won't make this list. It's all just due to personal taste, preferred pacing, hook, writing preferences, and how much it clicks. I want those gems that hold the momentum and velocity. I'm looking for ongoing or complete novels that just click with you and keep you engaged. Those that reignite your drive for reading. Including those novels that get you addicted to a new genre, type of novels, trope, fandom, etc. It can be web novel, light novel, fanfic, original, etc. Also prefer nothing too dark nor tragic. Prefer some romance and minimal drama. Thanks. My list for this: Spoiler With This Ring The Dark Shard: Enemy of the Light Life Ore Death Playing Our Roles Not this time, Fate Heroes, Dreams, and Destiny SAO: The Eroge One Punch-Gamer The Prince of Swords Dodging Prison and Stealing Witches - Revenge is Best Served Raw The Death Mage Who Doesn’t Want a Fourth Time Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Side Character Transmigrations: The Final Boss is No Joke Everyone Else is a Returnee Trash of the Count’s Family
Mother of Learning 99 chapters which are absolute quality. Great concept and the author pulls it off well. It's an original Novel which you can spend many days reading before you're finished. Then there is My Diciple Died Yet Again which is beautifully translated and also completed! It's great for laughs but also has an interesting plot and Main Character. You can binge through it for ages! And you also dont have to wait for updates to get that next fix

since Quick Transmigration's is there than maybe try some of the other world hopping stories? Not all of them are BL and Yuri and the best part about those is that even if you hit a story with a genre you hate you can skip it and not lose much (if anything) from the overarching story line. i'd say My House of Horror's or Lord of Mysteries but you said nothing dark and it's hard to find fluffy horror stories. that being said, MHoH did succeed in dragging me back into reading after a dry spell so it sort of fits the request.
Unruly Phoenix Xiaoyao A rather peculiar story about a woman living in a zombie infested world who gets transmigrated to a Ancient China world. The body she takes over is the Emperor, but actually a woman forced to be a man because of family drama. She's also super strong. Oh, and has healing powers. Did I mention she can talk to animals? All because "zombie something something". Wait, you didn't think this was a serious drama did you? Hehehehe. One of my personal favorites that I love reading! I laugh almost every chapter. It's near completion as well. Totally worth binge reading. Also, second shout out for My Disciple Died Again.
Hmm, no BL? To Be A Virtuous Wife, this one was what made me appreciate the hierarchy in Chinese family and harem. There's so much to remember but the implications behind each of them aren't something easily conveyed with common address.
True. There's plenty with BL, I have several with finish translation but my number one recomendation is not yet completely translated. @Cosmic_ Just shout if you want BL, I'm sure people will give you lotsa list Then Eight Treasures Trousseau shouldnt be forgotten
Less than zero by Kenichi618 It's a story set in the DC Universe where the main character is an AntiHero forced into the world of heroes and villains by his parents debt (to villians). It's not really grim, it's more comedic.
