How to block some novel from showing up in release page?

I want to stop specific novel from showing up not genre/tag or translation group but the novel itself

I'm mess around series filtering / release filtering but can't find it

I think theres no such thing.

 

It is, it’s just under reading lists not filters.

Predates the filters and has been around for years now.

 

You can make a separate reading list and make it for novels you want to block and hide its release from the main page.

look under List Settings.

 

Reading lists > create custom list > list settings > check hide from main release page box.

 

So you need to put it in the reading list first inorder to not read it?

Well, I just have the novels on a list called ignore and hide the list from the main page

Well I think of it as like a, hey I’m going to read this later so I don’t need reminders of new chapters, I want to find more new things to read.

But functions more like, the home page is cluttered as hell and I keep getting baited by these clickbait female protag chinese novels that sound awesome and actiony but are actually generic romances get this shit out of here.

 

on the main page on the right side by user tools select series filtering
and then add the novel to the select series and it will not show up on your main page

 

You could just block the tl, i block all groups named machine translation or MTL

 

Gotta say the feature is not easy to use on this site. A full category block filter would be useful

you don't mean blocking Horror genre or blocking all novel with Cultivation entirely, do you?

if it's that, then you can already do so with https://www.novelupdates.com/release-filtering/
anything you put in the exlude box, will have corresponding novels hidden from main listing

 

I meant like blocking whole novel types based off of country of origin

 

unfortunate then. unless tony had a change of heart one day, that's one feature we'll most certainly never see.
