ML is Huan Zong Spoiler Around chapter 102-103ish when her eldest shixiong (Cheng Yi) level up and the sect invites lots of people to celebrate. The others disciples just amazed their senior sister bring a man back home, while the rest of the elders misunderstand about ML. The reason is because ML's senior brother (Song He) made a very confusing explanation and miscalculate MC's sect usual way. I really cannot explain well with my words, it's a bit like this: (all the dialogue is not really this way in the novel, for better understanding please wait for the translation) Song He(SH, ML's senior) : you know about Huan Zong is very talented r8?? Wang Tong (WT, MC's teacher) : ah?? yes?? (confused) SH : actually just the other day Qing Feng men (other sect) is proposing marriage between their outstanding disciple with HZ. WT : *confused because this marriage has nothing to do with him* ah??? good i guess?? SH : You also know the situation these days, the evil sect arise again, so we need more solid ties. When did HZ decide to marry KH? What are the reactions of her shixiong and shishu when she invited HZ to stay in her sect?
They married around Ch 148-150ish, they plan to marry early but a random evil lord want to destroy the world cultivation around Ch 130ish. So KH need to go to secluded world to train alone (to later fight him). The time inside the world is slower 10x than the outside, she goes in for 10years, inside the world is 100years, HZ patiently wait outside. After she come out, they have lovey dovey moment ignoring KH's elder watching. TBH, all the elders, shishu/shixiong/shidi/shijie/shimei, random passerbys and including the readers will got TONS of diabetic moment. And both KH and HZ is not ashamed to show off their lovey dovey moment. All the shixiong/shishu/shimei/shijie/shidi just amazed their KH actually manage to catch ML to their sect. The only 1 oppose KH and ML is Wang Tong (over protective dad syndrome plus he think HZ gonna grab his beloved daughter apprentice). But it soon passed when HZ willing to marry into KH's sect.
They went from splendid cloud to radiance sect at ch 116, arrived there at ch 121. The conference start at ch 123. On the way there, KH and HZ met another sect (i forgot the sect name), but the head name is Shuang Qing master and he has ambition to overthrow splendid cloud from top 10 list as his sect is number 11. They went to radiance sect together, but they ambushed by evil sect. KH, HZ, and the rest kill those evil sect. At conference, the 1st and 2nd day, there is 1 people from each group discussion who met KH level up. So people want to be in the same group with KH. But at the 3rd day the evil sect head slip in and pretend to be disciple from other sect. The evil head sect then try to kill HZ and others. The other sects teachers join effort to defeat him. 1 of the sect teacher dead after wounded the evil sect head. The evil sect head then run and need to recuperate for another 10years to show up again.
is there something about gui Lin? the new disciple of splendid cloud sect. I feel like he is a little suspicious.
He is disciple of Shuang Qing master (the no 11 upstart sect). SQM send him to splendid cloud to spy (SQM really hate SP, in the past he was refused at SP's disciples admittance by elder Qiu even tho he has good qualification, because 'his heart is not the way of SP'. Something he never understands.). But GL later swayed by his friends and the way splendid cloud treat their disciples. When SC having party for KH's shixiong level up, SQM comes as well and try to contact GL again. But he realize GL now having two hearts about his 'mission'. So SQM hits him, but saved by KH passing by. So he developed a crush to KH (KH or HZ never care or know tho). After he passed his trainee period, he then chooses to go to KH's peak even tho he cannot be inner disciples because Wang Tong vowed only has 3 disciples in his life. So he then taken by KH's shixiong as disciple. Way way way later, after KH married, KH and HZ escorted a group of disciples from SC to radiance sect for another conference, they met evil cultivator whose seems to know he is spy. So his secret revealed to KH, but KH forgives him after tell him, he must come clean to his master.
Huan Zong was healed a week(?) before 'the final battle with evil sect' disguised as 'his marriage with Kong Hou'. During the time when Kong Hou stayed inside the secret environment where the time is 10x of outside, Huan Zong looked for the herbs they still lack with the help of the people from his sect and from Splendid Cloud Sect. Elder Qiu and the nameless doctor went to the sect where HZ is staying to wait for KH. They bickered as they cure the symptoms of HZ. The head of the sect they were in also persuaded the other sect head to give the necessary herb they had to HZ. This herb was used by this other sect head as an exchange to marry off his disciple to HZ, which didn't happen because power of love. Anyway, this other sect head agreed. When KH exited the the secret environment, HZ's symptoms are mostly cured but there are still 2 herbs left to be found. KH was like 'i'll find it myself. maybe my great luck will help me'. so they went to the seaside where the dragons blood has news. there, they found a small sect that abuses the residents there, and also the uncle who sells dried rare fish. the small sect was found to be corrupted by evil already so it was destroyed. they also the dragons blood but only little aura left because of inappropriate storing. so they ride a boat with uncle dried fish to the sea where they were ambushed by large sea creatures (mostly to take revenge on uncle dried fish that stole their preys). then there was storm (?) and they lost their direction. then they followed a small fish and KH treat it with food like a dog just to let it guide them. they appeared on an island (?). there they found a suspected dragons den (because it has a lot of treasure). so they searched for dragons blood. uncle dried fish seemed to step on something and hit a box then found the dragons blood. KH left a shiny treasure in exchange of dragons blood (good girl~). then they went back to seaside. then uncle dried fish went with them to harmonious city to settle there. As they travelled, KH and HZ were pondering where to get the last herb (bark of some flying cloud tree). Uncle dried fish became frustrated and told them that the plant they're looking for is already beside them, the potted plant inside the HZ's carriage. Although it was disappointing because it has no bark left and the bark needed must be detached from the plant by blowing it off. Coincidentally, when KH and HZ first got the unknown plant, KH found the bark ugly so she was trying to cut but HZ's servant suddenly opened the curtain, making the wind enter the carriage and blow off the bark from the plant. KH stored the bark in a jade box and threw it in the corner of her space to be forgotten. when KH and HZ realized that they already completed all the herbs, KH was like 'we need to return immediately to make the medicine or something might happen like those in novels'. when they returned to splendid sect, elder qiu and nameless doctor immediately started the alchemy but it took a long time to successfully make the medicine (they were still bickering btw). finally, they successfully created it before the date of marriage. HZ ate the medicine, not only was he cured, but he also ascended. Meanwhile, the evil sect was clueless about all this because harmonious city has strict security and the evil sect head just guess that one of Splendid cloud sect elder is the one who ascended (which became a trap).
Will there be any cat fights in the novel or people trying to compete with the MC? Do we find out what happens to that guy and his lover? I mean the guy who left his fiancée for this other girl who is suspicious, and later on lost his position in his sect?
the suspicious girl is actually part of evil sect. the original girl whom the suspicious girl disguised as is member of guy's sect and her dead body was found in her room. when news that evil sect disciples are disguising themselves to enter the righteous sects spread, all sects starting from the major sects got stricter in their security, including the guy's sect. but they were already late as the suspicious girl has escaped. there was no mention of this girl later on, i think.
there was no opposition much, only funny and trivial ones. the most serious could be between the 11th sect and splendid cloud sect. the details was mentioned before in this thread. there were also the fights during the conference. there was this girl from another sect that treats KH as rival, she got insulted by a disciple from another sect, something that is insulting for the girls, i forgot, was it about the dress. anyway, they fought and then they were kicked out of the discussion room. another fight during the conference was between the beast tamer sect and cooking sect, they were talking about the energy inside the beast, i can't really understand that part, anyway they fought and got kicked out of the room. there was also misunderstanding between cooking sect and splendid cloud sect. the cooking sect has restaurant in harmonious city but there was a rumour that a disciple from splendid cloud sect ate there and commented that their food has no soul. it became a joke that the restaurant was fake. but the cooking sect head knows it was authentic so he was aggrieved and didn't agree when splendid cloud sect proposed to annexed their sect. later on the misunderstanding was cleared with the help of KH and cooking sect became annex of splendid cloud sect.
No cat fight over HZ's love between MC to other girl if that's what u asked. The guy who lost his position in his sect never mentioned again. But the white lotus woman turn out to be disciple of evil sect, and later tried to kill KH. When KH and HZ stopped at flower theme town (i forgot the town's name), the evil girl pretends to be servant of the house KH and HZ stayed. But KH saved by HZ and Lin Hu, evil girl dead after interrogation by LH.
What I'm really curious about is the story book both KH and HZ like to read.... Is the identity of the author ever revealed?
Lol... Never... After met KH, HZ only write 1 more book, about the ML (in the book) meets wonderful woman, fall in love and journeying together. The only romance novel Talented Authot ever make. Strangely, that novel became very popular and lots of people read it. HZ never tell KH he is the author, only implying to KH maybe the person already old when KH sad after inquiring no new book.
....... Wait .... Don't tell me he is like KH's master and someone liking his book is his dream when he was a child... And that person is his wifey Edit: I forgot to ask... Are they going to have little KH or little HZ in the future?
I don't think it's like KH's master, because HZ already surpassed KH's master level. No KH jr or HZ jr mention in the future.
