Backstory:

Maul is the only one of his kind so far that the humans know of. Maul was an orphan living on the streets when a boy named Swift, who later became Maul's most trusted friend, started picking pockets on Maul's turf. Maul beat up the Swift, after that, Swift realized that Maul could be the greatest asset he would ever get a chance to have. Swift apologized and the two became partners in crime. During a hit contract Swift poisoned Maul before, and when Maul tried to kill the target, he passed out. Since then he has swore vengeance on Swift. He hopes that joining the Adventurer's Guild will help him find Swift and hopefully journey into the Unknown Lands, where Maul might find out about his true origins. Maul also secretly wants to be something that nobody would ever guess.
