Recommendations Any Novel where the mc has an actually strong master(that can protect them)

    I have read too many cultivation novels where people have reincarnated into other bodies that were deemed trash. I don't mind this but I hate how they blame their new prowess on a mythical master which got really annoying. Like the title says want the mc to have a strong master who has the strength to defend him/her against powerful enemies.

    From what I see they want a real master to exist and be there in existence. Not like sovereign of the 3 realms where mc is faking a master
