Today I woke up in pain. I slept in a horrible posture. Now my neck hurts. It’s the right side of my neck that hurts.

Man, it’s feel really weird swallowing my food. If it was my arms or legs I would have ignored it as that doesn’t bother me much. But, my neck? That bothers me a lot for some reason.

Now, usually I don’t sleep in a bad posture. Ever. So it maybe just my pillow? Honestly, idk.

I got one of those memory foam pillows. They seem to help.
Sleeping on the floor for a day with a mat, quilt or blanket might help too

Eh, I hit myself where it hurts.
If you want it to go away take a warm bath, it helps a lot.

Try doing neck rotation exercise and massage a bit.
If it still there, just suck thumb and try your best to get use to it.

Honest piece of advice try sleeping on the floor. I put a 2 inch memory foam topper on the floor and after the first day of adjusting to sleeping of the floor I’ve had no more back pain and some of the deepest sleep of my life.

As an Asian person, I must recommend Tiger Balm, or as my grandma says Taiga Bomb. It cures all physical pains, cancer, and even heartbreak.

warm bath after the bath use your thumb it depends on what side your stiff neck is and press it to your levator scapulae/ https://www.google.com/search?q=lev...ndroid-huawei&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8 then look to the opposite direction where your stiff neck is for 30 seconds... eg you have a right stiff neck press your thumb at that area then while pressing it look at your left slowly then count to 30

    I hope you feel better!
I usually put icy hot on the spot, massage it, take a hot shower/bath, or stretch. If all else fails and you can't deal take some ibuprofen. I've had bad neck pain and I couldn't move my neck to one side for three days. I found that all of these helped with the pain.

Get rid of the pillow. If you have neck pains from sleeping with your head on the pillow, it means your bone's alignment is out of whack. Sleep straight on your back, without the pillow for a month. That should straighten your back, unless you're like 50 years old, in which case it will do nothing as your crooked back will continue until you're dead because you didn't take steps to realign your backbone and neckbone when you were younger.

Medicines remove the symptom, but the problem still remains. You just don't know it's still a problem. And once you stop taking medication, ho boy, it's gonna hit you like a 20 tonnes freight container.

That's what I do all the time. The pain goes away after 2-3 days later
