Discussion Shokugeki no Soma Ended

It has actually simply moved to a different manga series from shounen jump... The next one will be dessert something

 

I stopped reading after they defeat the seniors, it went downhill fast after that. Before, the food is still capable of being recreated in real life, during the last arc with some sensational 'tools'including chainsaw and stuff like that i think this is stupid and completely scrapped this mabga

 

It's the difficulty of having to deal with expectations. I'm also disappointed at how the manga ended, but thinking about it, the axe is what this manga needed. Too bad that we didn't get to see an end that would be satisfying

 

It straight down to the trash bin, it's nonsense right after Souma took the first place. They should make him fight against Erina right after taking the 1st spot and end it there.

 

For me it started to go really downhill when Erina's dad showed up. I'm sure it was already getting a bit stale already before then, but for me that's when it really took a nosedive.

 

Yep,it start from there. I stop reading just about there. The manga fallen into cultivation mc trap.

 

I wish the axe would've come earlier, it hurts to see something I like reduced to what it is now

 

I dropped it when that blue thing and souma's brother was introduced. It should have ended after souma defeated the elite 10. I hope the mangaka would create a new manga asap. His art is good.

Does anyone remember Toriko? That was a good one before that fake anime ending but manga at the same time went downhill.

well looked like how the publisher wanted to make this series into a milkcow till it died but it ended into this
like in Death Note after L died

 

well there is a lot of good manga with shit or very ordinary ending like Bleach,Katekyo Hitman Reborn,and Air Gear

 

nah i think death note have much better ending compared to shokugeki series
there is many good way to end this series like souma got married or he competing with his child or when he defeated his father but this mangaka is ending it like some 3rd rated manga
damn its annoying to read this crap

Given that 95% of the people on here do not buy legally why are people surprised that it is cancelled?
At the end of the day, it is all about money. If it made money, it would never end..and that's not necessarily a good thing.
Then again everything cannot be like Golgo 13 (1968- present)

 

I wonder if souma was ever adopted? Or did saiba just give up on life in his depression years and start having casual sex and end up with a surprise son?
Did they ever mention the mother? Like a short arc where saiba was saved by the mother and end up marrying her and then she died shortly after giving birth.
