Whats your impression of it? Imo the premise was pretty great. All human gets petrified for some thousand year and one of them broke free from it and starts living and trying to save other petrified human as well. But the execution leave much thing to be desired (i guess its shounen being shounen). Is there similar manga/novel with similar premise but with more mature execution?
senku is literally carrying the manga, the new characters are okay only really interesting one is the captain kid. This island arc with the whole petrification shit gives me the cage of eden doctor fag arc vibes. So if it doesnt kill the manga it may slow it down quite a bit if its executed improperly.
I say fook it, the author just gonna let us hanging just like he did with his previous manga. I have a gut feeling the authors gonna connect the manga to one of his previous series. sunken rock maybe; where sun/ yumi got tired of mafia life and went into WMD trading
It's artwork was like a boichi manga ,though story was kind of okay but seems heavily inspired or rather a combination of many survival manga ,character wise senku is kind of interesting ,taiju is pretty much cookie cutter mc, rest are just average .Not that good of a manga but an average read.
Oo thats good then haven't read much far as I felt it was too generic but if it shows more focus on senku then I might continue again
It's actually a really fun story. Taiju completely gets brushed aside after a few chapters and it's all about senku and science. But, like everyone else said, the current arc is pulling away from the survival thing. At the moment, it's pace is slowing.
I only remember, the one I think should be MC actually MC's sidekick Also MC got a sick waifu in competition but divorce her right away, I'm very disappointed, thinking because there is some chemistry with the sick waifu's imouto so there would be sister sandwich in the future but my heart broken with the word "divorce" Also there is scene where one of the main antagonist turned better after defeat (defeat mean friendship) and they play "Lego" with the previously crushed (also by this main antagonist) stone body Another thing that caught my attention is the girl character that appears in the beginning, her hair accessory get turned into stone too!!! Survived for how many years and like the girl, free from petrified....at that point, I realized, the accessories actually a living thing too!!!
I see, thanks for the information. Its kinda obvious that senku is the real MC. That aside, i will drop this manga.
instead of dropping, best thing to do is wait six months and go from there, if 25 chapters cant bring it from the dirt, then just drop it. But as a story its quite nice and it shines best in its "industrial revolution" chapters. and when its good its really good.
I'm kinda allergic to shounen vibes. And first two chapter is enough to tell me that it's a very shounen story.
