Hmmm, it depends on what you see as a good story though, because usually isekaI novels are slice of life, quite different from the 'weak to strong' focused CN novels and that's usually the reason why people don't like Isekai, if you're fine with slice of life and a more laid back plot then I can help

Question OP, do you consider it Harem when there are lots of girls around, or when the MC enters a relationship with those girls?

Gah. I've read it. The children have zero personality, and they fight in a boring way. "kid 1 kicked the wolf. then kid2 kicked the wolf. the wolf died."

If you tried to write children with less personality, you would fail.

Overlord has good storyline. And it is not harem. People consider it fake harem. After all, MC didn't visit them, or saduce them. MC consider them as his child, and he is a skeleton. There's no way to use his d.ick
Re Zero Kara Hajimaru Isekai Seikatsu. It has a good story line, and it's animation is as popular as Overlord. MC only love emilia, and he has no romantic feeling for other girl. It looks like a cute romantic harem anime, but it's actually really gore

You're right, we should have a clear definition of harem. Most 'harem' JP content as a whole isn't really 'harem'. It's usually a group of people having feelings for one individual and most of the time there's not even an actual relationship, just an one sided interest

It is a bit of a reverse isekai but is a lot more serious than most other isekai novels. It has no harem and even seems to have one specific love interest so far but it is still a bit early on to be sure. Not slice of life as it has a lot of plot, and although a lot of it is fun with an OP mc hiding yet still being involved in big plots, it does have a tragedy feel to it. Not for all people but I'm sure some of you might like it.

 

Isekai Shoukan ni Makikomareta Obaachan is pretty good unfortunately TL dropped it around ch67.

 

For now i think i will try this one.

I hate harem in isekai, usually they will ruin the story
