SPOILER: ATHY'S MOM DIANA (DRAMATIC ANGST) ok last warning this is some good dramatic angst coming........ Claude has been heartbroken too many times man, this dude has been through sht from his parents, brother, bethrothed.. anyway it wasn't detailedly explained but sometime when claude became king he had tons of girls right, somewhere between then he met Athy's mom Diana, he became captivated by her beauty & free-spirit. Their story is said through bits throughout the novel from various perspectives but it was said she was a kind, compassionate person. Felix once talked about how Diana & Claude would drink tea together where Athy & Claude did. Even though Claude suppressed his memories of her he keeps remembering her in the little things like the tea he drinks (he doesn't know why he likes it but it turns out Diana was the one that influenced him *sobs*) ANYWAY she became pregnant but didn't tell him about it till it was obvious (for me they had a connection but because she's a free-spirited person she was always in & out of the palace, didn't want to be a burden to the King, didn't want to tie him down. Plus this dude isn't exactly the type to declare his love) "I lost" "If you want, I will even beg you" "Choose me. Don't think about anything else. Be more selfish and choose what's best for yourself" When Claude found out she was pregnant it was already almost her due & she was growing weaker because her body can't handle athy's magic. He begged her to choose herself & not die. Stay and be with him. Don't leave him. And so after that her death he resented athy and made himself forget about Diana because remembering her means remembering his great love. (BRUH THEY'RE SO TRAGIC but I think they didn't really have a label, some close to claude knew of diana but she was kind of like his unofficial girl but it was either he didn't take the time to actually make her his queen till it was too late OR she didn't want to be queen, stuck in the suffocating palace but fell for him anyway through their many hookups) I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THEIR LOVE STORY TBH cause it's so unique like Diana is a dancer and mostly dancers from this time were always travelling around to perform so they're not in one place a lot. I felt like Claude & her hooked up then through their many nights they got talking lowkey having camaraderie/connection but they didn't label their relationship, she left for a while & came back pregnant like about to give birth or smth that's when claude realized he fcked up big time cause girl about to die with this birth & he didn't show his feelings more. Too late tho. That's why when Athy said "goodbye" to Claude at the ball he was scared & anxious. SPOILER: ATHY'S MOM DIANA (DRAMATIC ANGST)
SPOILER: EJEKIEL (DRAMATIC ANGST) dang man I was rooting for this ship and was surprised at the development of Lucas & Athy's relationship in the novel. Lucas had an advantage cause homeboy was visiting Athy in her room a lot. Somewhere between when Claude lost his memories of Athy, she didn't see EJ a lot so during this time it was Lucas who was always with her. Anyway later on they had a few short encounters where EJ became more forward with his feelings and just balantly tells it straight to her face and Athy lowkey tried so swerve it every time (I AM SWOONING WITH HIS WORDS UGH he's like lowkey anxious she won't return his feelings) they also have a few intense staring thing going on that only the two of them know abt ~TENSION~. One time though she was being escorted by EJ back to her place when she suddenly wanted to address this whole uncertain-declaration-of-love thing that was going on so she confronted him but he stopped her before she could continue. She rejected him even if she didn't blatantly say it. They both knew it was over. Athanasia later narrates "Three years ago when I met him in that flower field I wouldn't have rejected him. I was so clearly drawn to him." She contemplates about every obstacle if they were to be in a relationship. "Ah it won't work. I'll definitely regret it later on. I should stop this before it's too late." Rather than letting her feelings grow Athy lied to him. She said goodbye to her first love. I think 18 year old Athy became more level headed and mature. Intense feelings of a first love at 16 wasn't the same at 18. Her feelings weren't strong enough to make him deemed worth the trouble. It was bittersweet ending twist to this couple that I didn't expect. I hate it because they're my ship BUT I LOVE IT MORE because it's such a mature realistic ending to a love story. The main guy doesn't get the girl. -ej and athy are still friends though it wasn't a bad ending for them, she just ended up with someone else & he respected that -in an alternate reality there is a timeline where lucas travels to that ej & athy did end up together but that's in a side story. they cute tho so im happy) SPOILER: EJEKIEL (DRAMATIC ANGST)
I think Claude is someone with the type that always running away from his problems like "JuST kiLL ThEM AnD PrOBLem sOLVEd!", but I do feel sorry for him because from what he has went through, maybe the just-kill-them-and-problem-solved is his ONLY way to defend himself. If any of you can read mandarin.... Found one on weibo. The translation reached the point where Lucas found out that the head magician had atti's hair and was experimenting in the lab. Lucas was unhappy that someone else got something that he himself didnt get. He went to the lab and destroyed everything. Oh, also, do you remember the bubbles that Atti played with when she was young, it was meant to kill her before eating blackie. But blackie destroyed his magic and spoiled his plans. The older Atti was asking about those bubbles and he lied to her that those were normal bubbles. He couldn't tell her that it was meant to kill her. Later on, he was wondering why he lied to her. Lucas in his "younger" days was really... Very heartless. He actually wanted to kill that 5 yo atti!
I think this is due to the fact that he is a black tower wizard where emotions were kinda concealed. He was a bit merciful because the bubbles meant for the child's death to be gentle. The last thing little Athy sees were bubbles in her death. Either way, he knew he liked her from the beginning due to the fact he did not kill her in the end. Lucas' character is very complicated. He does not understand how it meant to have real family nor friends. Possibly because it is nornal for magicians? I'm not so sure... Translation really difficult from ridibooks. But I'm so happy some of the peeps here confirmed what I read before. At least I knew that was what really happened.

SPOILER and a discussion!! Athanasia, Lucas, Jennette, and Ezekiel. I’m rooting for Lucas and Athy the moment they make Lucas into a mini Lucas and became Athy’s playmate, and then they introduce us to Ezekiel/ Ijekiel, and I thought that Athy would’ve ended up with Ezekiel. turns out they didn’t and she ends up with Lucas and I was so happy when I found out they ended up together. But then when I read the side story, when Lucas2 (Novel Lucas) was searching for Athy’s (Our Athy) dimension he went to the dimension where Athy3 and Ezekiel3 ended up together as in marriage and the Lucas3 in that dimension was friendzone by Athy (ngl I was so heartbroken by this when their Lucas said that he’s happy as long as she’s happy even though it pained him that he wasn’t the one that she choses T^T) after I read this, I was so bamboozled because no matter how many times I think about it Claude was never into Ezekiel’s existence, he despises Ezekiel’s dad/ Mr. White Doggie (lol) and his schemes, for Athy choosing Ezekiel was something I thought wouldn’t have happened. and yet, it happened. Then I realised in the novel when Athy said that if Lucas didn’t teleport her back when Ezekiel and her were in the flower field she would’ve chose him, but then I also thought that what happened to the Lucas3 when he did this to Athy3 too? shouldn’t it be the same with the first dimension? and shouldn’t in the end she still choose Lucas? I mean they basically grew up together, they know each other inside and out, they’ve seen each other sides, they’re literally like Jennette and Ezekiel, that’s why I’m not surprised when Jennette ended up with Ezekiel but they didn’t because Ezekiel fell in love with Athy instead. With all of that in my mind, those stuff I said about Claude not liking Ezekiel with this it kind of bounce back, and it made me realise that Claude may not like anyone to be with her but if she’s happy then he would allowed it. with this, it goes the same with Lucas, he didn’t like the idea of Lucas and Athy being a thing and then Lucas bringing Athy a dragon was a start for him (he approve of the gift) and I thought that maybe that Ezekiel (in the dimension where Athy and Ezekiel is a thing) could’ve happened if Ezekiel does something when Lucas wasn’t around (a journey to eat the world’s tree) but then I don’t know how it would play out, since Lucas mention it multiple times that Athy is his. (also she said that she isn’t his, but he is hers. SO CUTE in our world) and not only that Jennette is also in love with Ezekiel, and in the novel it stated that one of the reason Athy let go of Ezekiel was because of Jennette too. she knows that Jennette likes Ezekiel not as a brother but as a lover, and frantically she doesn’t feel anything (when they encounter each other in the town, Athy was alone in a cafe, and then she saw how Jennette’s eyes is like in love with Ezekiel) in-fact she was uncomfortable when the ladies talk about Ezekiel and Athy’s relationship, this still concludes on why did Athy3 chooses Ezekiel3 instead of Lucas3? So I dug around the author, Plutos and then I found something between Athy and Lucas’ fate, basically these two are meant to be together, they have this red string thingy with them. and this healed my heart a little bit XD because from all of this, only one canon dimension that Lucas didn’t ended up with Athy. Hmmm... Maybe in every dimension, everyone makes different choices. In the dimension our athy teleported into, that novel athy aint the reincarnation of the Korean orphan girl who died. lucas also ate blackie. That athy would likely die at 18. In that dimension where athy and ezekiel got married... Maybe that lucas decided to hide his feelings and didnt teleport her back, thus athy chose ezekiel instead. How I hope in one dimension, Diana is still alive and they are a happy family. I like the feeling of multiple endings... Could almost satisfy everyone's wishlist. I would love to see how athy ends up with ezekiel too. In that dimension, athy probably would still have blackie and thus her life would not be extended due to her magic powers. The current athy would live several hundred years due to her magic being amplified. The only one who fits her would be lucas. I can't imagine her marrying someone who would only live too short a life, that would be too tragic. Now. I wonder if Claude could travel through dimensions, what would he do? I seriously think he would kidnap another Diana to this dimension.
I would like to ask something... please spoil me If you had read the webcomic you may know that claude kind of shows that he really loves athy, he is like taking care of athy, he wants she to be happy, and he protects athy even it looks Iike he dont love her. In other words a tsundere that really loves athy. But... after all that years he forgets everything about what he lived with athy... Can someone spoil me and tell me: in the end of the story he remebers everything about athy? Does claude still loves athy And forgives her for the dead of diana? He starts loving athy’s sister? Oh yes! multiple endings sounds great, there’s one dimension where Lucas2 saw that Athy hasn’t been born yet and it was at the moment that Claude begged Diana to pick him and Lucas2 decided to eat up Athy’s magic before she’s born so Diana would still be alive and the family would live together without Diana’s death. and I think that’s the dimension I really want explore more sadly Lucas2 just passed by that dimension, ate up Athy’s magic and then left. I wonder how that world Lucas would meet Athy, since she doesn’t have any magic by the time she grow up.
I am astounded that the author has a ton of multiple endings/scenarios in the original novel (another good reason for it to be published and translated into English). It's basically a what-if on every important point in the novel, the first is transporting a modern girl into the world of Who Made me a Princess. From there, it''s like a Wheel of Fortune. Personally, I like this stuff and this stuff is what fanfics are made of. The thing is, how many side stories are there? I only know 5 with various characters so it's still possible to have more. The possibilities are endless band cross fingers all side stories will be available in the future

I decided to create an account to interact with you all Im really curious about Claude’s reaction to Lucas’ dragon gift to Athy. Many of you said he approved. But how? Did he nod or gave a thumbs up or approved in a tsundere way? Also, will there be more scenes of Claude and Diana? He is not Claude’s brother but rather a royal family ancestor (Claude and Athy’s ancestor hence why the same crystal blue eyes). Dw, I don’t think he’s a bad character (I mean imo) Will there be more scenes of Diana and Claude? Hmm tbh just a little? Not new scenes but rather more details about her. We do get to know more through Claude’s POV about her character and how much he really did love her. Spoiler: Something cute and good The reason why she died was because baby athy’s magic was too much for her to handle. If you read my past spoilers of this forum, Lucas 2 (Lucas from another dimension) travels dimensions and he comes across a dimension where Claude tells Diana to choose him. Lucas sees this and eats baby Athy’s magic to become stronger. This means that in that dimension, Athy will be born without magic and Diana will get to live. Claude will get to have both Athy and Diana alive ❤️ But Ofc this is in another dimension but still Does Claude really love Athy? Ofc he does. Later, you will see how much he really treasures her (but he’s tsundere so he doesn’t really express it with actions). He has kept her past drawings as a child and treasured her gifts athy gave him in the past. In the side stories, we get to know more in Claude’s POV. Even before Diana died, he couldn’t bring himself to kill Athy nor after when she died. That’s how much he loved Diana hence why he locked his memories (poor him it was too painful). But trust me in the end, he really came to love Athy and does treasure her a lot. Does Athy end up with Lucas? Yes she does, I suppose. She’s also kind of tsundere when Lucas shows her ‘affection’ but we know she secretly likes it lol. Spoiler: Izekiel shippers In another dimension, Athy does choose Izekiel over Lucas and Lucas 2 comes across to a dimension where it’s her wedding day with Izekiel. Lucas says something like ‘this is for my woman.’ Or something like that (sorry it’s been a while) At first Claude was like wtf did u say but his reaction to the dragon wasn’t bad. He was very vague but he said something like, ‘a dragon as a gift? Hmm not too bad. Something fit for my daughter.’ How does SBAPOD end? It’s kind of a lowkey open ending. Athy studies to become an empress for when she will inherit her father’s throne while Lucas is kind of doing his own thing as the black tower wizard. They do end up together, like their feelings for each other are mutual at the end. What are the side stories? There are side stories. The side stories include: -Claude’s POV -Claude’s memories with Diana -Lucas from another dimension (Lucas 2) goes dimension travelling to find our Athy. Along the way he come across Athy+Izekiel wedding, Lucas’ daughter and Claude and Diana. In the end he teleports to modern day Seoul. -Lucas past history before meeting Athy.
