No Wonder Korean Novel Translations Have A Bad Rep

    All the nims, oppas are distracting from the story. It reads more like a fetish piece than a story. It's no surprise Chinese and Japanese novels have surpassed Korean novels.
    I hadn't read a new Korean novel in years and I couldn't help but be disappointed.
    It's a chore to read...

    Also the other suffixes as stated below. It breaks immersion. Only works if you are into fetish porn or eroge.
    It is even more out of place in a novel set in Europe

    Lys is either trolling Wuji or is a Wuji sockpuppet. Can't tell which one yet.
    But the Wuji one was stupid. He has problems with translators translating honorifics yet has a name like Wuji-gege (gege means brother, an honorific). If he practiced what he preached, he would just be called Wuji.
