There is no reply from the translator seeing his track record it safe to assume he dropped it as he not completed any of his other novels and dropped them in the same way
I'm at chapter 471 on Syosetu and I recommend it, if you wanna read some slice of life and 'kingdom development' (not really kingdom tho) the novel can be quite good.
I had seen similar situations where the translator AWOLed and then someone posted for pickup request. Only then the first guy pops up, complains and shit and ended up the entire series got iced. Send a minimum of two posts asking whether the translator has stop posting, only when he did not reply, or replied and say he is not doing it, do you start to do a pickup request. Keep it black and white. Don't use informal tone. Don't cuss and swear.
Many have posted "still waiting" messages with no replys, and I the translator was not busy would have answered those messages that's what I believe, by what I know if a translator doesn't post in a month the novel can be put up for pickup by NU rules, He has to follow NU rules I believe. Edit - I don't know how but I started typing like Yoda
his TL is top quality but the projects die too fast...i think only Founding a Nation in a week went for that many chapters....
its fine to put up a request after a month but in the case that the origional tl comes back within the 3ish months period thing can get tense/hectic and end up with neither tler tling the series again so most of the time its 3 months after. besides the person planning on picking up the novel can still wait out the rest of the time b4 posting just in case origional tl comes back so the request is still valid might not get picked up all that quick tho
So, what should we do wait for 1 Top- tier translation with good release rates which probably will not come or 2 go with pick up with uncertain quality and release rate.
