This is a very simple thing that could be resolved with going to reading list and do some reread, but in case that @Tony is bored... I want to suggest a confirmation feature, before doing some ticking. Why? 1. I'm sure that I'm not the first, and neither the last person who will tick the check box accidentally 2. Right handed smartphone user will most likely scroll the page from right side of the page, which can result in afore mentioned accidental tick Benefit 1. No losing our reading list tracker 2. No accidental ticking of series we are not reading. Hopefully you also come up with the option to untick the accident...?
confirm button everytime you tick it by mistake? I'll probably feel lazy to confirm it everytime I click.... maybe a option to undo our last click somehow?....(something like Roll-Back option?)
Plz no! No plz! Just no! More things to do .. Just no! Always to confirm after a click? This means 1 more click per click .. Just no !
Or maybe detect platform, where smartphone user got to confirm their touch, while people online from pc can just do one click
My phone always bugs out with menus. I think a rollback button would be nice. Once a chapter is clicked, my previous chapters disappear so it is quite the pain. A confirm click might make the site completely unusable for me however.
A confirmation feature is possible but It'll be off by default if it's implemented. As for an undo option, that's something I'll implement for sure. I'll see what I can do when I go back to work on the reading list. Thanks! If it's implemented, it'll be off by default. Don't worry.
@Tony have you found the solution for this? I just found a couple of novels in my reading list that I don't remember adding haha~
Can you two check if you're adding it on your own: http://www.novelupdates.com/reading-list-logs/ I would like to know if you're adding it yourself by accident or if NU is bugging out somehow since you don't remember adding it yourself. Thanks!
Mine today were by accident so I had to go to the reading list to delete them. But one novel looked interesting so I added it back to the reading list lol. Past ones I assume were accidental as well. I just didn't notice them straight away I guess
Ah okay. As for this feature, it's not going to happen anything soon. There are a lot of features ahead of this one, sorry!
No worries~ it's a hassle to go to reading list to delete the novel but it's not an accident that happens a lot. We can wait~
I am sure that lots of not added novels are accidental touch... well, I'm using a cheap android tablet most of the time, so the touchy feely is a bit... buggy. From my iphone, scrolling the page often make me accidentally push the checkbox, so.... @Tony dont forget to eat carrots and tomatoes
