Looking for a good story based around the concept of a MC someone or a group of someone in a Fantasy world (It could be they have always been there, or were transferred over from their own world) who are disatasfied with their new Magical world, or can't use magic for some reason, so instead, they turn to SCIENCE! Now, I'm not talking about Black Powder and Steam Engine stuff (So not something like Release that Witch), but more Advanced Technology. Maybe they find a downed Alien Craft, or maybe they have access to some super AI and Nanobots. Maybe its just their "Cheat". The idea is that instead of the Magic of their world, they are focusing instead on Scientific progression and development. Bonus points if its not JUST a cheat, and they are some kind of Mad Super Genius able to make a Fusion reactor by banging two rocks together. NOTES: 1): Decent Length (30+chapters or 2-3 Volumes, depending on chapter length), and/OR being actively translated (Has been updated in the last 1 - 2 months). I.E. I don't want something with 10-15 chapters that's not been updated since August 2016, but something with 5-10 chapters that's been update Mid Feb/Mar (or even the start) is perfectly fine. 2): No Hentai/Smut. Adult themes/Scenes are fine, but no blatant smut (I.E. a bedroom scene just for the sake of smut). 3): Harem tag is fine, but No Polygamy.
I think you would have better chance finding those on RR. No harem basically remove 90% of japanese novels..
No, there are tons of stories tagged harem that don't end as Polygamy. 90% of the time "harem" tag doesn't actually mean harem in novels now these days. It means "There is more than one person via for the MC's affection".

You sure about this one? from what I remember of the Manga, he's pretty heavy magic focused. Then again, I didn't read far, so not sure.
Time.Travel() from RR. mc makes a lot of new weapons. but the setting is modern world. Rebirth, but not quite, also from RR. it's not like he is dissatisfied or anything, but he just made things (new spells, airplanes, etc) for unknown reason. (I know but I won't tell you) Arifureta. the mc is a craftsman, so he made guns, grenades, cars, drones, etc. but they're mostly magical, rather than science. and those weapons are not made for science and technological advancement. EDIT: you don't want harem? I guess Arifureta is out.

For the second one, is it him using Science and technology to make a working plane, and reinforce it with magic? Or does he make a vaguely plane shaped magic flying object, and call it a 'Plane"? The First one is actually a decent example of what I'm looking for....up to the point he randomly gets turned into a human because the Author wanted it, THEN gets turned into some kinda Angel Cyborg for no real reason.

How about Science *advances* Magic? (sort of, if you look at it sideways) If so, check Amazon/Kindle Unlimited for the "Wine of the Gods" Universe by Pam Uphoff, they're generally quite brief so don't be intimidated by the fact that #44 was just released.
he did make a working plane, but the engine that powers it is his own magic. he used his mana to turn the propeller and that's it. probably have improved it with something like a magic engine now.
