Feature Request Public REST API

    Novelupdates is the only website that provides information to such a huge number of translated novels and also has an incredible big community. As a developer who loves Chinese webnovels and want's to provide applications for the community it would, in theory, also be the best website to grab information from but there is no API to do it conveniently and the staff repeatedly mentioned not to scrape information directly to keep traffic down.
    A public API would solve the traffic problem and bring birth to new applications which would increase the size of the web novel community that in return will help novelupdates to grow.
    So please to help everyone, add an API.

    In other words, profiting off what Tony works on. Don't give me bull about letting it runs free, it won't be the first time someone took something readily available for free and monetize it.

    Old thread, answered somewhere in another thread months ago, so I'll give the most simple and direct answer.

    No, there's no public API. Never was it available for the past 2 years and most likely won't be available in the future. Work on it yourself, good luck. Lock.
