    It’s Independence Day for Americans! I was wondering what the fellow users on NUF do on the 4th of July?

    I’ll start I go to the parade with my family, go to a BBQ, come home, and leave to watch fireworks with friends and family.

    I went to Montana once on the 4th of July, it was an absolute warzone. There were kids firing explosives at each other, lined up in rows throwing firecrackers back and forth. Every once in a while with sound like a machine gun is going off as someone lights off their whole roll of firecrackers. I think we scored a direct hit on someone's canoe. Needless to say it was a great time.

    here in the Netherlands we don't celebrate it
    it had exams today and nobody even mentions it
    and why would we
    do Americans celebrate 14 juli (french)
    or 4 and 5 may (netherlands)
