coward mc who has stupidly op power but dense and so bad when it comes to relationship. its always heroine who made move for him, and mc never ever take initiative.

sadly a lot jp isekai novel doing this premise smh.

 

Characters that get badgered into doing something and only respond with ‘it cant be helped.’

Right now I’m hating the really stupid ones. The ones that see the signs everywhere but need to get slapped in the face before they’re like crap. I recently dropped cultivation chat group cos I couldn’t stand the mc retardedness~

Self insert mc's are the worst for me, I would rather read a story of a stupid mc who's at least funny than incels approved mc.

Saint MC's are fine, it's just that they are hard to write, especially it really needs a complex story and characters.

What the 1st few posts here said... and also MC's who are only decisive and cruel to male antagonists. I hate that females are treated better than males in 99% of all novels. I'd understand it, if the MC gets coochie for it, but most of the time he doesn't.

Actually female antagonists who give the MC coochie, should still be killed off... just out of principle....

Uhm.... the could come off as 'mildly misogynistic', but I actually like women. And I believe woman have the physical and emotional potential to stand shoulder to shoulder with men... giving them 'special needs' treatment and advantages just rubs me the wrong way

A overpowered beta MC that has killed atleast a hundred people at 15 or 16 but blushes and runs at any type of contact with females and even though he is in a world that reveres the strong and he is overpowered he still bows to everyone and is forced to do their bidding even though he can kick everyone's ass.
And I hate Mc's that hide their power for the stupidest of reasons but then go and try to get revenge on the strongest enemy and gets his ass handed to him yet has the nerve to hate the enemy even more.

 

I can't really say between stereotypical CN or JP MC, one's a psychopath and the other a wimp who can't get laid even if a dozen hot babes throw themselves on him.

I dislike and despise MC's that are hypocritical and go against what they stand for. Another one is a MC who is smart but not smart. What I mean by this, is an MC who can think of a cool or ingenious plan, but doesn't take any of the consequences into account.
