Hi this is my first time asking in this corner can you guys help me translate these words 太乙金仙,大羅金仙,準聖,混元大羅金仙 I kinda only know that 準聖 means half sage/saint
Supreme Unity Golden Immortal, Great Principal Golden Immortal, Quasi-Saint, Chaos(/Chaotic/Primal/Primordial) Great Principle Golden Immortal Honestly for 大罗 I'm not really sure, I just see it translated like that sometimes. Not sure there's a good English translation for it so just go with what sounds good.
大羅金仙 and 金仙 is supposed to denote a ranking/stage in the Buddhist/Taoist system, but tbh i have never really saw an exact transaction of what it was in English....
the Golden Immortal of Taiyi(primordial unity?). Taiyi (lit. "great 2nd Celestial stem") means "primordial unity of yin and yang" the Golden Immortal of the Great Overarching Heaven (Da Luo Jin Xian) the Golden Immortal of the Primordial Overarching Heaven 混元大羅金仙
I have a natural tendency to word cultivation things as more of a straightforward process, and thus it comes out more western sounding. So, up to you how to take it. 太乙金仙: Supreme Golden Immortal 大羅金仙: Golden Immortal - The "en" is more or less adding the daluo. Refines energy more to essence, as xianxia usually patterns it. 準聖: Exalted - I would say exalted gold immortal, but then feel like I'd need to add something else before golden next. 混元大羅金仙: Gold Immortal - Honestly, feels weird having this before the pseudo stage. Gold, to me, makes it more worldly and unrefined like the Chinese.
