Recommendations Antihero or just a bad guy

    Was reading Er Gen's Renegate Immortal (a rare no harem cultivation novel with characters who actually seem older than 3) and now I bellow for sacrifices! I wish for novels with characters who, as title says, are either antihero, or plain evil. But they must be relatable and have a good(sounds so ironic but obviously the good I'm referring to is not the moral kind) reason for being the way they are. And not too edgy pls. So no going for crazy killing sprees for 30 chapters straight or deliberate taunting and endless arrogance like on Emperor's domination, mkay? Any genre any source hopefully not dead or completed

    I'm shilling Death scripture. MC was Heaven's boytoy for awhile and after numerous setbacks refined his skill to kiss and eventually stab hostile ass. Is pretty fun.
