Did Magic Swordsman of the Epic remain as his first class after the debuff? Or did pagma's descendant returned as his first class.
Yeah it was lost temporarily but that doesn't mean that the arrangement of class should remain. Magic swordsman of the epic has a potential to remain as the first class because the epic has started already. Grid's other class is actually hindering the growth of this class. The other two class can still benefit him as a second and third class respectively. 1048 [He was overshadowed by the shade of certain names, but he had already accumulated enough.]

Can I ask about the real life romance of Grid? Is there any progress? I havent been reading since chapter ~500 ish
But, for people who really want spoilers... The whole deal with the Dukes that side with Grid gets sabotaged because Marie's kid Edan (who has the magic machine army) sees Grid and Piaro talking to the Dukes, and decides to trash / kidnap them. Grenhal is especially harshly treated. Basically, Grid is going to have to rescue them. The rescue definitely isn't completed in the next ten chapters or so. -- Apart from that, Empress Aria's demon summoning son goes and meets the Emperor to talk about his mother's assassination. And the Overgeared alchemy center gets an upgrade. Although I think the upgrade is a long process.
