Question What kind of cp do you prefer

I actually dont mind. I like both female and Male partners so my taste carries over into books and writing too thankfully. I'll read and write anything.

 

Depends on the interplay of emotions and the level of author's sincerity in developing the charas.

 

As long as I like the plot and and how it’s progressing without any dumb thing i wouldn’t mind if it’s Bl or anything

 

Strangely enough, I kinda prefer to read BL, but when I write stories it's all boy and girl romance... My mind is full of BL tho, make no mistake, lol. BG is easier to write I guess.

A personal preference is for the couple to be the same age. I don't like big age gaps (excluding cultivation worlds where it doesn't really matter). But I also find 10 or less years age gap where the woman is older a bit interesting. Or when the woman is in a position of authority over the man (teacher-student, or master-disciple, etc). Normally, you'd have the man in a position of authority, so I know what to expect of them. But it's still interesting to see how they would develop when the power or age is in favor of the woman. Same for shou and gong dynamics in BL.

Also, I'd rather the female lead (or the shou) be more mature and slightly cold, while the male lead (or the gong) is more playful, puppy-like and cute. I have a separate soft spot for yandere gongs in BL, not so much for yanderes in hetero couples, but if it's done decently, I'll read. Cold and overbearing male leads bore me. Cold and overbearing female leads interest me (it's a damn rarity, ok?). I'll leave it here, so I don't end up writing a dissertation.

 

I have been trying to get you to watch an older woman romance drama for a year and have been failing, I haven't given up yet..

Is that I need romance 3 on the first poster? I did watch that one partway before I got bored. It suits my taste in cp, but not in story. I got bored of the story zzz. The second poster also looks familiar. tvN makes more original dramas, but their romance ain't that good (from my watching experience, could be wrong overall).

I have to agree on their romance being underwhelming.

I enjoyed I Need Romance 3 mostly because I watched it when it aired and I am a sucker for noona romances, with the condition that the female lead is financially independent .
Poor female lead stories are boring.
As for WWW, the women beat up the dudes, so it's a guilty pleasure more than anything. I don't find the female leads to be strong characters though.
I wish Korea will learn from Doctor X, beating down female characters while claiming they are strong is so 2008
