Actually , they do matter , different species affect the person differently . The noblesse/noble species doesn't have any NEED or even desire for blood , meaning u just become a powerful , nearly immortal being with no side effects , I would be down to that . While, being a vampire from the originals effects u differently , it heightens ur feelings and senses considerably , so u would change A LOT after turning especially in the beginning when u don't have control much , similar thing happens to twilight vampires but with less intensity . All these factors contribute to what kind of being u would become .
