Well, when it comes down to it everyone is a bit possessive if the look is ok and she does give me my freedom like can not leave for 2 min before she does anything to get my attention on her it could be a normal relationship. Have a friend who has a chick who controls his privacy every time we meet to have a small conversations to discuss what's new and so on. He gets 2-3 calls from her and from time to time something "happens" at home, as the water in the kitchen does not stop running or she gets sick the child gets something and so on. She is a nice person and if we meet at his home there is no problem but if we just go for a walk with the dog or something alike and she knows someone else is with him, min the calls came.
