Q1: Who are your favorite authors?

Feng Qing: Jin Yong, Gu Long, Er Yue Yan, Bu Fei Yan.

Q2: How do you accumulate writing materials in peacetime? What would you do if I you inspiration dries up?

Feng Qing: I usually watch TV and read books, some materials that I feel useful will be included in the file folder. I'm a dreamy girl, I often like to think about strange things. When I got too stuck to write, i just want to quit, but fortunately I hold on to it. Read books, watch TV, or just go out and get in touch with more people can help with it.

Q3: How did you begin your career as a writer? What changes and growths have you got in writing so far?

Feng Qing: In fact, my writing career can be traced back to the time of junior high school. At that time, I was especially interested in classics and martial arts. My original dream was to become a martial arts novelist who will surpass Jin Yong and Gu Long(now it feels like a delusion). My first novel is a traditional martial arts novel written by hand. The final manuscript paper had been kept for many years, but was lost on the way to make a move. After that, I gradually letted it go because I was learning and working. Later on, I accidentally followed a novel on Xiaoxiang, and then evoked the idea of writing novels before I started writing in Xiaoxiang. The biggest growth is probably to learn what is patience and persistence. I'm not a patient person. Nowadays, novels are all very long, without patience, there is really no way to keep updating every day. I personally feel that my insistence is nothing compared to many authors and friends in Xiaoxiang.

I don't mean to be mean but if there was a choice for being out of the loop i would have chosen it.

 

How's The Sage Who Transcended Samsara ? Thats the only one of his novels I haven't read. Mainly cause I've been told its to quality is horrible

 

its not horrible but its the worst novel of the author
didnt read much (100 chapters or so) but I offten confused characters sometimes got moments of "wtf going on" later skipped some chapters (well the last one I do for most infinity genre novels)
to be honest you wont miss much by not reading it
