I was going to go to Publix but............................ Anyway I’ll take any position I can get as long as it’s not cashier. I’m in Florida and I’ll be taking jobs that are in Cape Coral or Fort Myers. I’m in highschool so of course it’s gotta be a flexible schedule. I come here because people answer fast. Anyways do people even write a paper application anymore or do they just go online?
Most states usually have a summer job program through their local city, that's how I got my first job.
Here you can work at McDonalds or KFC starting for 16 years old. How about checking out fast food chains? Unfortunately, to get babysitting jobs, you either have to be referred to by someone already doing the job or your mom negotiate it with the parents of said baby/child. Nobody would hire jailbaits they don't know.
Never heard of anyone asking for a job on a online forum...especially one that has nothing to do with it. Take a look at restaurants you visit and ask, or look for 'help wanted' poster. Or ask a friends that has a job if they are hiring and etc. Go out and ask. That's the only advice I can ask for high schooler.
idk if it's different in different states or if its been changed in the 12 thousand years it's been since I was in school but I had to get a work release slip from school for my employer to fill out and return to the school. other than that I just went to nearby stores asking if they hired under 18's. then again I also had trouble back then because I was under 16 looking for a job
Most places have strict regulations when it comes to having a minor in the work place. They tend to only be able to work in one location in the store, and only part time. Here in Texas, Braum's I think lets 16 and 17 year olds scoop ice cream. No knives, no cleaning, no register. And I think only something like a 4 hour shift at most.
Out here we got canola fields you can work in 15+ 18 bucks an hour. I will never participate since it's out in the sun picking weeds all day, but it might be up your alley.
Go around the neighbourhood and see if there is any lawn mowing/pool cleaning job and get to know your sugar daddy or mommy. Apply for server at restaurants or banquet servers at hotels Pool boy Newspaper boy(if you don't mind the early hours) And that is me speaking as one who have never visited any western countries
Lol all these are actually hard to get. People usually have companies who specialize in landscaping/pool tech maintain their home or they do it themselves. Or they have their own kids do it. As for being a server at anywhere you usually have to be at least semi pretty or handsome with experience or have high confidence. As for paperboys, the USPS has killed their industry.
