Two scenes, the one where Aang freezes the bloke is cool and the big scene where he moves a bloody tsunami is just epic. Everything else was shite off of someone's bunghole, and what on Cher's name was that white wig? I was beige with aghast.

At least Avatar's live action was acceptable than Dragon Ball Revolution. They completely butchered the script and the cringe was over 9000.
i think only Alita was respectful and true to the source.....Hollywood cant make decent movies...they exist to destroy and virtue signal....
I agree. Often times most novels/ games/ shows to movies never live up to the originals. For stupid reason a director or writer always they can do better. Just to name a few. Air bender, dragonball, super mario, street fighter, Enders games and the giver. I mean why make a movie of a certain original art if your not going to actually follow it. I think many directors believe no one would watch a live action movie that just repeats the original work, but that’s stupid the people who really want to watch it are those same fans. The movies that came close that did well are LOTR, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Dancing With Wolves and Narnia. He has consistently made his own style of movie since day one. I mean just look at Blair Witch. He must have spent like 10 gran on it, but for all these years I’ve always wondered what he did with the other 9 gran. His movies are interesting, but every time afterwards I have a feeling of being screwed. It’s not a normal or happy feeling. This is what I think.
Isn't live-action a synonim for don't watch? Stick to hollywood movies, but yeah I saw a few scenes on TV and it looked just as bad as I imagined.
Errr was I the only one who thought that she might have been talking about leaks from new Netflix live action show coming out next year..... nobody? Oh well!! Anyways, I have high hopes from THAT adaptation.... as far as I am concerned the movie never existed and it’s taboo!! TLDR: yeah I watched it. IT is TRASH.
LOTR was epic. The problem with adapting from books is that you have to squeeze everything into that 2-3 hours. Ends up you have to butcher the book somehow just to fit in all the important parts. That's why Arwen in the movie was actually a combination of Arwen and Glorfindel. I guess the end product depends greatly on how the director, scriptwriter, producer, etc, manage to streamline all the important bits. Then you have Cloud Atlas which apparently generates responses across both ends of the spectrum. I thought it was great, all the inter-connected bits. Toms Hanks thinks the movie was good too. But of course, there were plenty of critics of the film.
Kenshin screwed up at the opening.....the sword he discarded was picked up by the villain and he became the next Battosai...like wtf!!! and the second movie confused me too much....

Oh believe me I know. As an example like LOTR they we’re missing so many good parts. I miss the drugs. Another example of a movie that came close, but did not exceed was Jurassic Park. I mean even in the very first chapter of the book he see the horror of the dinosaurs. Not Jurassic Park. The only movie that may have exceeded a book was Percy Jackson only because of Grover. As to Cloud Atlas. I like the movie, but I never read the book. Even with that said I bet the book was better. At least that’s what I think.
As far as I know, he’s made ONE good movie. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of watching the extra content from Sixth Sense, so got spoiled. I did in fact buy this piece of garbage on iTunes, just for the last scene...which was epic, and it was less than 5 bucks. @Ai chan , wanna know how to erase this unspeakable garbage outa your head? Watch on YouTube the last episode of Legend of Korra.... You’ll see.
I agree that the last airbender movie sucks (im like wtf am i watching? Where's my adorable aang?) but i don't think m.night should stop making films. I really liked his last trilogy of unbreakable, split and glass.
