Have y’all ever had it where you are in such a quiet setting and it’s been so long since you talked that when you do, it sounds foreign and almost too load?
It happens when I look myself in the mirror in the morning. The face staring back always manages to confuse me, until I remember, 'Oh, that's how I look.'
Sure, usually when I think about something I tend to forget that I am human and alive. Sometimes the world seem like a simulation and I glitched for a while
Yea, since the whole 'noise meter' resets down to almost zero. You calm down. You could almost possibly hear your heartbeat if you tried and when noise starts up again, it would seem louder because it disturbs the serenity of things. Some people have the troubling thing happen where once they hear their own heartbeat, they can't stop un-hearing it and it stays the loudest thing for a long while or forever.
Playing game all weeks and go out trying to eat stuff other than junk food and snack, and foila ... need to get throat stretching
No, but sometimes rarely I forget I'm human. To be more accurate, I forget this is my body. Like looking at your own body and moving it, then remembering it's actually your body and your life as a human.
Yeah. Especially back when my voice used to sound weird for the first conversation I would have that day because of lack of use. I don't know how to describe the sound it made, but it's not pleasant. I would hear my voice very loudly in my own ears, but everyone else would ask me to speak up. But we're all just integrated pilots in highly sophisticated bio-mecha.
I'm not alone! My fellow companions in hearing your own voice as loud, let us join together in quiet solitary!
ah, no. Not anymore. I started a job where having a loud and non-crackly voice was important. So I started thinking outloud to make sure to keep my voice well used. And then it became a habit. So my voice isn't like that anymore.
There are moments where I brain fart and I spin like a loading circle imagining myself as a sim while trying to remember what I forgot
I used to do this back when I was a teen until I got into Uni.. But now not so much since I got wifi 24/7
