This is just my guess, but based on the summary, MC is about to blow himself up with the zombie emperor so he broke up so the tree wouldn’t feel sad over him Previous world seems like an apocalypse world and the current is ancient china
The tree might've been the org form of the general so anything that happened to it will happen to the general
The general can feel whatever is happening to the tree. So when the lion peed on the tree, the general felt something welt trickling through the roots. Looks like this current world is an interstellar one. The previous world seems to be a zombie infested world with people being able to transform into animals or plants in addition to having elemental powers.
--not accurate MTL Spoiler-- ML (the tree) jumped to a rip on time & space due to MC's self explosion with the MC's beast core (or something like that). ML got to the current setting empire, it's instestellar ang became a major general. His human form separated from his tree form, which he planted on his backyard. But if he focuses his mental power on it, he can control it. He has an intelligent robot in his house who also knows the MC. He confirmed from it that MC was also in that world after going though the rip and was looking for a human who can transform to a lion beast. In his search, he discovered a distant beast empire (is that rongrong and his black dragon's world? ), several light years away and went there to establish relations hoping to find MC among the lion beasts there. However, he didn't know, MC is already in his home!!!. Okay so about the MC, he escaped from confinement/prison in the palace where the little prince is said to be on house arrest. He doesn't know his identity at first but later had flashback with darling tree's healing. MC's body is a clone of the prince. The real prince has trash grade F mental power and physic. He is the emperor's only kid, so to make a perfect prince emperor started illegal experiments with clones. (What's with this author and trashy imperial families ?) MC's body is one on the clones. His talent is excellent and he has great metal powers but they discovered he has abnormalities. He can't control his powers/becomes violent/ alternates to little and big Lion forms... something like that. So he was imprisoned. When MC transfered to the body, the owner is on the verge of death due to trying to escape his prison with traps, there's medicine three painful steps away which he drank, then he dismantled the traps and got away. MC's previous power is also metal in the previous apocalypse world. He's a human who can transform to lion and control metal. ML can transform to a gingko tree and has healing power. After MC escaped, he wandered near ML's mansion which was near the palace and saw a gingko tree... exactly like ML's gingko. He went wall climbing to get to the tree. However, even after doing everything, acting cute, and even urinating... to the tree it has no response. MC got sad, is the ML still blaming him? Then he thought maybe ML can't transform to human yet. MC transformed to human wearing a few metal clothes he condured. Then he found mansion near the house and was able to go inside easily. He found military clothes there and some casual clothes he wore. The mansion has a robot and MC was surprised it greeted him as master. MC thinks: the general's mansions security is poor. the robot even mistakes a stranger as master. He advised it not to let just anyone inside the house... Lol. Then ordered food to the robot, feeling comfortable like the real master of the house. Meanwhile robot sent ML a message: second master is here!! --this is getting long, gonna shorten it.
Cont... --MC went out to gather info about the world. Setting is similar to Lazy merchant with light brains as personal terminal and what not. He went out wearing a metal mask. --he saw a store selling beast metal cards?? that projects into something like mechanical robots (can be used in combat and other things.) --he stares at them and studies each animal, then asked the storekeeper if he's looking for a part-time. (He wants to save money to buy a house and transfer his darling tree ) storekeeper ask if he is a beastist??? -- don't know, that's the direct MTL-- and asks his level. --MC thinks he is good at manipulating metal so he shouldn't be too bad, says he's level 5. --People didn't believe. MC made a demonstration. First was fail, but second was very high quality. They believed. --MC sells it for cash to one of the audience, made agreement with manager and ask for a bank card. Storekeeper: Who goes outside without light brains. --MC buys premium water for darling tree before going home. -- Then, Everytime he goes out to deliver cards he buys variations of premium water and even wine to water ML's roots and starts play acting and talking with the tree. --Everything is recorded by robot and sent to ML. --While MC was on another watering/talking and play acting session, his powers acted up, creating many metal needles. --ML the tree make an intinctive defense reaction. Human ML felt his scalp hurt because MC snapped a few leaves I think. Then MC cried feeling wronged because of Tree ML's reaction. --ML just received the first message at that time together with a few of MC's first videos, because he was too far. --He handed the foreign talks to other Minister and planned to go back, then he used most of his mental power on the tree. He just left a little to his human form so it can make formalities and go home. --He scanned MC, felt abnormality and healed him. MC felt asleep covered with ML's tree branches. --While sleeping he murmured ML's name... Something like don't hug me too hard, it tickles. --Robot sent video to ML with message: If you still don't go back MC will run away with the tree.
--There was one scene when MC recovered the body's memories and told it to the tree. He added that there was still remnant of original owner in his brain and if it was possible he wanted to adopt it as his son... MC said 'he didn't know love or hate, he just wanted someone to hug him' --poor original soul.. --ML is worried the remnant would cause MC's body to destabilize, he got a fruit (or seed)of himself wanted MC to eat it to get rid of original at first. --MC: Who do you want to pollinate with?! Jelly little lion --Human ML is laughing at MC's reaction. ML put seed near MC's head*??. Instead of getting rid of original, he extracted the remnant and combined it with seed, which germinated and become a gingko sapling. *Bun alert!! Lol. ML is still lightyears away and they already got a kid. --sapling is close to MC, he is always entangling MC's hand and doesn't want to get planted by the robot. He wants MC. --MC is conflicted. He is still jealous the ML polinated with a 'female tree' but is getting soft-hearted. --MC is educating it... 'Your father is the soil, your mother is the sunlight' --MC becomes determined to make more money. He not only needs to take care of the big tree now, there is a little wild sapling. --Oh, and there is a level four 'beastist' who want to decipher the code of MC's cards and take it for himself. He discovered its a new and more advanced pattern without a patent. He thinks MC is a pushover and if he can decipher it, he would have more fame and glory. He's been buying MC's work, and even decided to monopoliz all of MC's work so it won't be discovered by the public.
When I skimmed ahead at chapter 73 and suddenly saw a part where they're talking about about carvings..... RongRong???!!! Have to read carefully then! EDIT: Chapter 74: It was such a small glimpse!!! I was expecting a full on interaction though....
Yep. I was also expecting a meeting at least. But then, its the end... I missed Rong Rong and his black dragon. I wish the writer writes extras.
Good story BUT too lacking in interesting parts... like how ML and MC met before the apocalypse, and what happened after chapter 74 Are there any extras or can any good person make fanfictions and send links??
