It's been a while since I've made a life advice thread like this. I think I used to ask all the time about what I should eat, how to cook stuff, etc. Back then I didn't actually care since I had a lot of things I was worried about that mattered more than putting food in my stomach and not spending all my money on fast food. Now, I think it's time to actually learn what people eat. I wont go into details about what my diet is right now, but let's just say I've been balancing it with physical labor and working out. What kind of things am I, as a human being, supposed to feed myself with?
U usually eat food that's: To ur tastes. Nutritious. Available near u/easily available. Affordable. Or u can just eat spinach all day long and become Popeye.
Physical labor needs fuel, I recommend a protein and some carbs. If you're doing lots of physical labor, such as throwing around 50lb(25kg) of weight on a regular and consistent basis, up the fat content as well, you need energy and that means both carbs and fats. The protein just restores the muscles
I can't say what's best for you or what you would like more, but but where I'm from rice is the staple food. It's easy to prepare as well; a cup of rice, a cup of water (slightly more if you want it softer or less if you prefer it harder) a spoon of salt, and a spoon of oil. Put it in the rice cooker and done you have a serving of white rice. Add beans, meat, a fried egg, tuna, or whatever and you have yourself a basic lunch or dinner.

Sounds like that would kill me to do every day, but it is pretty fun to flex on people "I haven't eaten in three days" before eating their entire fridge so I'll take it. I can't really say I'm a normal person, but I am aware of what my bloodline will make me if I forgo that kind of training. I have a few more years of leeway before blowing up a ton, but until then I'll do whatever that workout manga tells me to do.
Tbh just buy mixed rice veg if your country has u get to buy rice with a veg n meat everyone for relatively cheap price If u can cook I suggest you just try cooking simple meals that are relatively healthier lol
