So I've been suffering a serious case of boredom. I recently picked up Painting of the Nine Immortals and then ditched it 3/4th of the way there....then I moved to RoyalRoadl and started reading some old and new stuff: Sole Survivor Life Hunter Luck Lockyer (My Favorite so Far) Dungeon Core/Realm Heart (I like the Mixed aspect and whatnot) As most can infer, I'm into Strong Main Leads or as NU categorizes it "Protagonist Strong from the Start". Anyway, now I'm stuck in a loop....has anyone got any good Reccs from RRL? I'd really prefer if the Male/Female Lead is either Uniquely Strong or Smart Strong from the Start... Thank you for putting up with my rambling! Regards, Manan1106
Am I allowed to plug my work shamelessly here? If not, then one question before I recommend. Isekai or no Isekai?
Try reading novels by Andur, most of his novels are very good and completed. You can try: "Law of shadows" and "Beyond?" Both of the MC are Uniquely Strong and Smart from the Start.
All you need are fanfics, this is a legendary list with the best of them https://www.fanfiction.net/u/9071421/
Dungeon stories at rrl There is no Epic loot here , Only puns It's a comedy but also one of my favorites so I still want to recommend Omnipocalypse monsters New novel , Female MC that is strong enough to rule over a small area. Life Hunter ( not a dungeon story ) OP MC from the start , does whatever he feels like.
I don't mind either way. I would prefer a well-written Isekai, please! And what is your work? *Cough* I'm a huge Andur fan, so except for Body & Soul, half of Tale of GOD and Conscription, I've read 'em all, more than once! I agree with what you said but I love what he is doing with the new version of Until Death? Thank you, I will check it out. I've never been a fan of Fanfiction, preferring Originals over them, but never too late to try! Except for Omnipocalypse I've read all of 'em. I've also read some of both New World and Randidly...I'll try Omni. Thanks for all the reccs so far!
Well you know, there is fanfiction and there is fanfiction. Sturgeon's Law says 90% of everything is crap, in fanfiction it's more like 99% is crap, well in webnovels too, but then you have a bunch of dropped or turtle slow updating fics that leaves you with 0.1% worth reading. Thus it wouldn't be suprising you didn't find anything good. What's good about fanfiction is there are infinite versions of the originals, with different perspective or with diverging paths. Some are even better than the original, some expand on the world building making them akin to expanisions to games.
Well, I'm not sure if you will be interested in it but I recommend 'The Lazy King'. Its more eastern style(It's a Japanese light novel) compared to the novels you read but I think you will like it. MC is strong from start, but he's a sloth. I can't recall but he never really lost even once throughout the entire story. This is quite an old one and the story is completed so you don't have to worry about some random cliffhangers. Another story is 'A Wild Last Boss Appeared'. MC Is strong from the start and remains strong throughout the story(or at least up until the part I'm reading). Don't let the Isekai tag fool you though, there is an actual plot and mystery behind the facade. And my story. Well, it's not really worth reading but I just want to plug it here anyways. The title is 'Providence of Wisdom' and it's on scribble hub. it's still new and there aren't many chapters there. I just thought I do it cause one of the two main protagonists of the series is really strong from the start and is quite street smart as well.
That's an interesting take on it...but yeah that 0.1% should be worth it. Hmm... I've read those a long time ago...I'll check out your work too! I know what writing is like, I tried it on RRL once, while it wasn't anything great, I loved the process! That's why I appreciate all these stories so much more!
Awww. Here I thought I actually recommended something good. Not many people knew that one. If you read that, then I'm sure I got nothing else to impress you with. You've probably read everything. PS: I appreciate you giving my story a chance.
I’ve already read that...sigh..Good novels are hard to find...I’m going to try to see if MTL for 9 Godheads is readable...
