I thought the tragic ending is the first time line and the second is where they love each other but hide it .Where the Mc cries a lot and Ml clings to her and then revelations are revealed .Then they marry and have like three kids.
I heard there a side story that goes more detail into the original timeline where he loved the Fl who was the only daughter and heir of the duke.Even through he hates the duke he loves Fl so much he cant do anything . The Fl has the God mark with the Protagonist so the Ml sells his soul to the devil to get one too however the god of love gets angry and curse him to fall .His soul gets ripped apart and gets killed.
his soul is sealed away to continue to suffer .
