Discussion Random feature~

Yo~

I’m bored and I need some randomness for entertainment.

So tell me what new random features do you think will make NUF more interesting. I’m talking about just NUF not NU. What new things would you like to see ton ton introduce to NUF. Use your imagination and be creative.

And keep it SFW please. Don’t be one of them people who go Lenny. It’s kinda boring really~

From me I have 2 suggestions. Since we have a bank then we need a loan shark. One who will lend money to the blackjack players when they’re desperate. They’ll charge high interest and if anyone can’t pay their loan back they will get banned from NUF for a length of time proportional to how much money they owe.

And second, a random name generator. Got this idea from @Lurking. We can have this in the shop. You buy it and a name generator appears and picks a random name for you. Your name will then change to that for however many days you pay for.

Nice ideas right? So what suggestions do you have people. Share them with us~ ☕️\(•~•)

 

The Bank of Arcturus is open for business. Unfortunately, it's difficult without any means of enforcing contracts. And remember, withdrawals can only occur at the main branch location!

 

If you did it through @Tony some official plausible system could be put in place. Of course he’s a greedy fellow so he would want a share of the money~

 

Reward system where everyone can get a free NUF money everytime they log-in on that specific time.. or reward for making a likes or completing every daily achievements..

Like, instead of a blue post reply button you can pick to have a green one.

 

An effective means of playing RPG games in the forum. For example, a function to keep track of stats or parameters, or turns in the story to avoid confusion/ revision in scenario roll out. There is also reward or penalty systems to keep the thread active or poll option to stop the game based on the conditions/rules given by original poster.

Basically, implement a fun way to enforce order in the game!

 

Rpg system. People get limited (to prevent spam) experience from daily reply, and like. nuffies will be the currency, we can get untradeable equipment from the shop. The monsters will be handled by bots like blackjack. Of course there will be class system: magician, warrior, archer, and healer. We can form a party to defeat the monster.

 

A specific time every time or it changes and the lucky ones win the money? And what about the people who are always logged in?

That sounds nice. But I think it’ll be too much to implement.

I’ve never played RPG so I dunno how that would work~

 

Depends on what tony puts in there.

 

I want a fortune cookie on the shop. Or a random gift box.

And I was thinking you meant a fortune cookie icon. But an actual fortune cookie sounds really good. Maybe you can get ton ton to implement that feature for a limited period around New Years~ ☕️\(•~•)

The explosion of necroing will be amazing to witness

edit 2: What about a day where everyone's usernames are renamed according to a random name generator? And past posts/threads/profile posts and follows lists would be hidden completely. Just for 48 hours. It'd be like a fun event. People would get practice for spotting clones. It'd be fun to mess with each other. It'd be confusing wondering if you're really talking to the right person. All gossip would stop completely during the event, because no one would know for sure if the one they are gossiping about is actually the one they are gossiping with!

It could be an April fools event~
Of course it'd probably be a huge pain to implement so I doubt it'd ever happen. Just like the random thread generator wouldn't happen because it'd be a pain to deal with the necro-ing.

Yup. We had a secret vote on what you truly desire. The top 3 were:

1. Tony’s old stripper panties.
2. A signed and framed photo of Tony in his full stripper gear.
3. A meatbun eating Tony plushie.

That last one was a surprising entry. No idea how it got to 3rd position~
