Just caught up with Lord of the mysteries and I was curious about the author's other works and found the sage who transcendes samsara, but after reading for 50+ chapters I found that the translation is horrible.

The question is, will the translaion quality improves? If so, when?

It is a Qidian novel translated by Webnovel.com, don't hold your breath.
Good translators are not like sand unlike many like to believe.
    Just give up.
Voting on the novel might give it more exposure and it would get picked up by a better translator if you are lucky

Translation will always improve, but to what extent and when is another question.

Translation cannot improve if you only buy cheap labor. Good translators and localizers who understand how to turn a translation into something others can understand only exist in corporate professional settings or as passionate fans. Qidian destroyed that.

I think Qidian makes deals with fan translators to split the profits from spirit stones as opposed to hiring real professionals with editors.

    You are only partially correct.
As someone who also hires translators, even professionals can do a bad job
eg a 40 year old female translator will do a horrible job translating a novel like King's Avatar if she doesnt play online games or MMORPGs
