Resolved How to translate the word 妖板？

    How the word used examples,
    自古华擎出妖板,
    asrock make 妖板 since immemorial.

    妖板 ＝ weird mother board thats stray away from the norms. Example making z390 chipset run with ddr3 ram.

    I just don't know the standard/the norms how the English community address those boards. Well, technical translation needs to be standardized unlike novels, so please don't make up a terms just because it sound cool.

    asrock phantom is 华擎幻影 in Chinese.
    The term 自古华擎出妖板 is the impression of the company give to its fans. Recently 华擎officials started a thing called 妖板学院 to teach/show off the avaliable method in building a pc with their mutant board e.g p67 transformer.
