Forgotten Title Extremely Smart And Powerful MC

(i posted this before but i didnt put extremely smart in the title idk why i forgot)

All that i remember is that his family is pretty poor he tames some kind of wolf (it is intelligent like a human i believe) and hes extremely powerful and smart (im talking like actually smart). At the beginning the first two people he meets (besides his family) is a doctor and a mercenary leader. (He calls the mercenary leader uncle). Also i dont remember if its reincarnation/went back in time or what and if it was a fanfic or novel.

Another thing i remeber about the wolf is it was about to be attacked by its group(dont remember why though) and MC comes and scares the sh*t out of them and the wolf(fenrir i think)then becomes his pet
